can ask for advice, or maybe other drone owners will know whats going on? I am trying to record video in 4k at 30 fps with shutter at 1/60 and wb at 5500k.... The exposure it wayyyy too much/ wayyyy too bright and washed out but i already have my iso down at 100. any ideas what i'm doing wrong?
@DroneSupremacy3 жыл бұрын
@@12ozMousee That's perfectly normal, you need to counter that extra amount of light by using ND filters! Look them up and see what they do.

Dude... really appreciate these kinds of tutorials. I just purchased my MA2 and for the most part have pretty good stick control (spent 1 month using a simulator online before purchasing). Being in the downtown core of Toronto... you have to drive a good 45 min. minimum to be able to fly the drone, but it's been worth it so far. I have a 15,000 sq. ft. indoor facility that i have been able to practice. by spring, i should be pretty solid on the sticks. thanks again for all the tips.

I wonder when/if DJI will add gimbal speed settings to the MA2. I also miss having EXP settings. It would be great if they added those features to the DJI Fly app.

Fantastic video!!!!! Really needed this. So would you say if the video is looking over or under exposed, you should play around with the ISO first before adhusting the shutter speed? Becahse the ideal is to obviously have the 180 degree rule?
@DroneSupremacy4 жыл бұрын
Really depends on the situation, actually most times I’d first adjust my shutter, but in some situations you really need the 180 shutter rule so the iso could be adjusted too

Do you have gimbal overload issues when using the ND/PL filter?

@alvinnyemah71404 жыл бұрын
@@DroneSupremacy what is the proper way?
@mizrahman46734 жыл бұрын
One more question haha I don't know if this is possible lol but if you have set the 180 shutter rule + iso 100 and you're happy with the exposure as it is, is there a need to add an ND filter on? Surely you would be to achieve what you need without having to add an ND in this case? Pls correct me if i am wrong - im just learning
@DroneSupremacy4 жыл бұрын
You're exactly right! NDs are only needed when you can't achieve the 180 degree rule naturally :) If the light allows it - don't use a filter!
@alexandre259454 жыл бұрын
Can you achieve professional footage without nd filters?

why do you set your return to home set at 50m instead of 30m?

Sometimes there are obstacles that are really high (like a tree, powerline etc.) and you might hit them on the way back if you set it to 30. 50 is just for a peace of mind.

I've been involved in photography/videography for almost 60 years. I've been watching a variety of these videos and there seems to be a lack of understanding on how to use the iris in setting your exposure. Iris isn't even mentioned in this video. However, manipulating the exposure by adjusting the shutter speed, iso or using an ND filter is mentioned. Adjusting the iris is the only method of adjusting the exposure without affecting the image quality. In truth at ISO 100 most outdoor full sun conditions should be handled with a 1/60 F16 or F22 setting. ND filters should only be used as a last resort. Why cover the glass of your expensive prime lens with a inferior piece of glass or plastic?
