In today's DJI Mavic Air battery test, I'll test all 3 of my batteries and give you an average flight time estimation, so you can know better what can you expect from the battery life of your brand new DJI Mavic Air. Although the batteries do not last as long as the Mavic Pro's, so far I'm extremely satisfied with the flight time. However, I must admit that if you only have one battery for your Mavic Air, your overall flying experience won't be optimal, so make sure you stock up on those batteries! Thanks for watching!

Today I've tested the Mavic Air's real flight time by flying all of my 3 batteries and calculating the average flight time per charge. This is not your usual hovering test, it's all about real flying and real results which you can expect during your flights as well. The results are quite interesting! What do you think?

I have 3 batteries for mine, how long they last depends on what I'm doing with it. But I'd say I get between 10 and 15 minutes out of each battery.

Hi, do you know if batteries drain itselft. as i charged the battery to 100% but did not use it for three days. After 3 days when i put the battery to the drone i noticed it 60%. do u know why is that. thanks in advance

That's impressive considering the wind it Battled so it would have probably went longer . I was hesitant to buy my mavic air because of all the negative comments I'd seen about battery life but after owning it for several weeks I realize that I was just a bunch of Mavic Pro owners trying to find fault in this new air drone. I own the mavic pro also and it does have several minutes more flight time but not really much more honestly and I like them both equally.

You're right Steve, most of the complaints I've heard have also come from Mavic Pro owners, which is understandable. I'm also perfectly happy with my Air, especially now that I have 3 batteries - I have enough flight time each day.

Hello, o just purchase the mavic air and my battery doesn't go this far, it gives me only 15 mins, some times 14 mins only? So how can i solve this problem?

hi , i purchased mavic air few weeks back, fly more combo got three batteries. i have tested them all they all last really 15 to 16 minutes in normal flying conditions. is there anything wrong with the batteries or this is expected? thanks in advance.

All I have gotten is 16 minutes max and that was hovering...so I'm guessing that to 0% I can get 18 or 19 minutes. And another question...will it harm the batteries running down to 0%?

I have AirMap app and it show all the airport and heliport phone number and I know I have to contract and notify the heliport and airport and seaport under flying for fun rule but there some airport don’t have any number available to call that airport to notify what should I do. I know if there no answer or answer Machine at the airport or if number been disconnect. FAA told me I did my duties and follow the rule and notify but what do I do if there no phone number to notify that airport if they don’t have a phone number Available

Good video !! Are you happy with it comparing to the spark ? What are the best benefits ? And where do you miss the spark highlights ? I am about to change the spark for the new mavic but not sure if I will regret... thanks huge !!

To be honest I don't miss the Spark at all right now. Everything that appreciated about it is now better - the extreme portability (the Air is honestly smaller), the ease of use - the Air is just as easy to prepare for a flight, it's more stable, has more range, has 4k, the camera is better.. I don't think you'll miss the Spark either. As a matter of fact after I am done with my comparison videos between the Air and Spark, I'll probably put it up for sale as I don't see myself using it anymore. Hope that helps :)

I haven't calculated that to be honest, but I recharge it let's say once every 4-5 flights, so it takes quite a long time.

How many battery should I start with. I thinking to get just get two Mavic Air battery for now. Because I live on low income and thinking to get a third battery later on and charging hub too

It does - it has obstacle avoidance on the front, back and bottom of the drone.
