I think DJI is going to be taking us somewhere with this and add more and more capabilities which they could do with firmware updates. It would be cool if you could have it do boomerang and asteroid via gestures and more change of controls. I would use it more if it had more capabilities.

Did you try start from palm like Spark with gestures? Or too close to recognize

I hear ya. I agree with your other comment, I think the Air will have its place in the lineup. What I really don't see is how the Spark fits in anymore except for merely a cheaper point of entry

Maaan if u don’t run ur chubby self around and show us how well it tracks you when you moving. I know the spark it has a tracking speed maximum so it won’t catch you if you run too fast.

I said it before and I say it again the Mavic Air is just a "GIMMICK"... I believe it was marketed to appease us until the MP 3.0 is ready for market!

I gotta disagree. I think it really adds a lot of new features that are totally worth it. But I'm sure the next Mavic will be awesome as well.

I have to disagree too. (MP3, by the way? I hope for M2P first. 😀) I do wish the next Pro had been released simultaneously, but I believe that version will leave a wide gap, and the MA will be justified. We're at that awkward stage, where it is hard to see how things will fit. But I have every confidence that within the next month or two it will all make sense.
