This product isn't available anywhere in the US. I chatted with DJI today. If you order from thier website, which is the only site with availability, the earliest you could expect delivery in the US is the end of May. You are very lucky to have this product.

I had heard from other reviews that the hot shot is very fragile and very easy to break off. What do you think? I also heard that there is a lot of interference noise from electronics near by. I'll most likely get the DJI but still checking out reviews. Please let me know what you think.

Love the DJI Mic.....but noticed that when just using a mic as a recorder, I get a click at the beginning and usually a click at the end of the recorder. I also got several voice pops using the TX mic.....and the level was set relatively low. Still trying to determine levels on the TX and REC so I have a good strong level in FCP.

The DJI Mic is a complete FAIL for pro use. After dropping almost $400, I'm really disappointed with DJI. First, pros don't use chunky transmitter packs as mics. Never. The fact we can't use high quality lav mics we already own, due to interference concerns, is ridiculous. DJI dropped the ball on quality control/testing. So, if you want to use this system "professionally", you need to drop another $69 on one of the only lav mics that works with it, the Shure MVL. Which, honestly, is far from a good mic. Aside from interference problems, noise is another issue. This system isn't that quiet. Compared to my 10+ year old Sennheiser G3 wireless system, this is like a 70s metal desk fan. Even at 0 gain, the noise floor is pretty high. My Sennheiser is still virtually noise-free. While I really wanted to like it, especially due to the miniature size, I'm most definitely going to return it. It's not ready for prime time.

I was all gung ho over getting the Rode wireless go II but now I see all the features the DJI Mic has to offer and it’s making me lean more towards that product now. I like the sound much better too! Can I ask a side question? How did you get into doing Real Estate and doing house tours with agents? Don't buy. I sent my back as the touchscreen is not very responsive (one touch in ten works). The receiver clip is very weak and difficult to remove from the receiver without breaking it. You can't just leave the clip on the receiver as it won't fit in the charging case unless you remove it. Get something else.

Hey Billy! I am wondering if you have tested this mic with the basic DJI RC for adding audio to the screen recorder? I have been successful with an old MPOW headset in adding a sound track to the screen recorder's .mp4 video, but it's really awkward wearing the headset outside. I got it done by plugging the MPOW headset's TRRS 3.5mm output into a 3.5mm female to USB-C male adapter. I plugged the USB-C male end right into the "Host" USB-C port on the DJI RC controller. Looking for a better way, like maybe the DJI mic system. Thanks, Bob

Ordered back in November 2021!!!!!. Sick of seeing loads of "Influencer" KZbin videos, especially in last few weeks, yet no sign of "DJI Mic" for actual ordinary users. The reasons given for the delays do not make sense as it has now gone on for so long. No idea if I will eventually receive mine in May as latest availability update shows. Love DJI products and have loads of Drones, Cameras and Osmo's but the wait for the DJI Mics is just crazy, and annoying now with so many fresh influencer Videos appearing again, just like they did back in November last year. Like loads of others I have ended up buying Rode GO II systems.

Thanks somewhat helpful, yesterday I had a live on scene podcast and brought these Instead of my handheld mics and ruined the whole live podcast they would not stop with feedback noise to my rode board. So I'm hoping that with what I just learned from your video by turning down the receiver and transmitter volumes will allow me to use these mics for my podcast.

Hi I have a question… I might be missing something simple here but I just did an interview using the dji mics and when I've come to edit the interview I can get each mic sounding great on their own even done a little mix within logic on each separate mic. But then when I come to edit the full interview I of course have to put both voices on top of each other and sync them up. I've managed to do that fine but they just sound a bit naff because we're sitting apart from each other in the interview you can here the other person speaking slightly in each mic. Am i correct in saying the only way to elimnate this is to go through the whole interview bit by bit and cut out the other mic when the other person is speaking? This would be a very very lengthy process so I'm hoping for someone to jump on this post and save my day...or should i say my week! The way I recorded the interview is a mic on both people abs clicked record on both transmitters then dragged the files of each transmitter and loaded them into filmora 11. I recorded in mono so have separate recordings for each transmitter. What am I doing wrong? 🙏

Try using a noise gate on each chanel so that when the person is silent the chanel will be muted

You can hear the interference when the lav mic is used at 14:11. I have the same Rode Lav II here and it is great with the Rode Wireless Go II so far, hope DJI can fix this.

Yes, the interference seems to be the signal from the transmitter to receiver. Most likely a hardware issue and Idk if that can be fixed. There was someone who did a review of which lavs to connect to the DJI Mic to negate the interference, they concluded the Shure MVL didn't pick up that interference (if I remember right).

Hi Billy, did you find there was any radio frequency interference with the DJI receiver switched on with the Rode II Lav Mic? Stewart and Alina said there was quite a lot with the Rode GO Lav Mic so just wanted to see if that applied to this one as well! Thanks!

Hi. Does the Dji Mic work with the Insta360 One X2? The Rode go ll is invisible when pairing. But then again, you said that the dji mic transmitter works as a standalone so if the receiver doesnt disappear invisibly then maybe I could use just the transmitter? I dont want to get several mic’s, one for the phone one for the insta360 etc. I hope the dji mic will work with all of them.
