Excellent summary!! I was hoping to answer a couple of questions but no luck, perhaps because it cannot be done. I'm using an iPhone 12 Max Pro. In Lightroom, the GPS coordinates do not appear and the times the videos or panoramas were taken are incorrect, although still photo times are ok. When I use the OM4 by itself without the Mimo app then both GPS and times are fine. Any suggestions?

Very enjoyable. It doesn't seem like a bad app. I like the manual settings. I use Movie Pro but you really cannot get the shutter to stay at 1/48 for 24fps. Learned a lot!

Very helpful! Is there a way for DJI Mimo to recognize an external microphone (with a proper adapter) and make manual adjustments to the external microphone gain? I can do that in other video apps but of course it would be very helpful to have that functionality in the Mimo app so I can use all of Mimo's great features.

Maybe I am holding the gimble at the wrong angle when I walk and I'm not good at keeping it balanced and pointing toward my face....I'm not really sure what's going on. Great Video Tute! QUESTION please... I am using the Osmo Mobile 3 and connecting to my Rode wireless go 2 via the dji gimbal camera app. Works Great! BUT, when I export into my Final Cut for editing it does NOT split the tracks. I have set the 'split track' in settings on the wireless go 2 mics. When I use my iPhone camera/video app with the wireless go 2 NOT using the the dji gimbal camera app, that I connect via Bluetooth I DO get a split (stereo) track. Problem seems to be with the dji gimbal camera app (connected via Bluetooth). Would love to solve this and hoping you could shed some light. Many thanks... and thanks again this tutorial. Nice Video, but there's one feature DJI says can be configured, but many forums ask with a Samsung Galaxy Phone (S9+ in my case), using the OM4 how to configure to auto save photos and videos to the SD Card in my phone. the DJI Mimo app defaults to our phone storage, which many have capacity limits due to apps loaded, so SD card would allow for more flexibility. Any advice? DJI Support was not helpful. Cheers!

This is a great tutorial on Mimo App. I watched your OM5 videos and they were really helpful. BUT you don't comment on the strange random numbering system that Mimo applies to the images that erases the iPhone standard IMG_ numbers and substitutes their own thus rendering them out of order they were shot in. This does not happen with any other app I use for my iPhone 11 shooting, stills or video. I use "Image Capture" to download my images to my Mac computers. In the phone the images are in order, but once downloaded, they are given new and inexplicable file names causing many extra hours of sorting from shoots. This is such a problem, that I am considering dumping the OM5 and getting the Zhiyun Smooth Q4 that you have also reviewed just to use the ZY Play Zhiyun app that does not do this. If I had known about this feature, I would not have bought the OM5. I like everything else about it although it does not support the Moment Wide Angle or Tele lenses. Just too heavy even with the full set of balance weights you also recommend. Even my Zhiyun Crane M2 can't balance properly with those lenses but can with an added fishing weight. But the Moment Wide Angle picks up lens flare from bright windows and lights so I can't use it in the low light situations I bought it for. Nothing is perfect I guess. But I would appreciate it if you could address the naming issue that is a deal breaker for me. As a pro shooting using this gimbal in certain situations, my files are big so using iCloud and anything that does not download directly to my HD, is a non starter. Thank you for all your videos. They really help even for a pro like myself who has found himself old suddenly and needs the lighter weight stabilizers and smaller cameras.

Great Tutorial! I am considering purchasing the OM4. My only concern is the magnet. If I use it to film some roller coasters or rides at Disneyland, will the magnet be strong enough to hold my IPhone 12 Pro? I do NOT want to drop it. I can see a lot of great uses with a magnet system for quickly setting it up.

I've never had the magnet detach. I've used an iPhone 12 Pro Max plus a filter. You would need a serious force to detach it. That said I can guarantee anything
