I liked the video. I'm a newbie at drones I just bought a DJI mini 2 SE and just started flying today it really is fun but I'm kinda nervous about running into stuff and hawks attacking my drone so, I've been keeping it not to far away until I'm more comfortable flying.👍

Another thing I found out, and is shown in this video, is that he goes a bit beyond a full circle (360 degrees) before the app registers the compass as calibrated. When I used to just pick my Mini 2 up and turn it one full circle and stop, it wouldn't usually complete the calibration and would give the the calibration error message. So just keep turning beyond a full circle until the app says done.

How does compass calibration and gps satellites relate to each other? Or how does compass calibration relate how precise the drone will land with rth? Is there a warning if the compass is not okay or accurate?

probably because your in a shit GPS location when you boot up the drone. it takes a good minute and a half to get a solid GPS lock. it's something you can't do very well inside some places- think of it like phones having poor reception in some buildings

I think you should do it all the time especially if you're in a different location after all you want to know if the drone is coming back to you when it's far away not going in the wrong direction that's the way I look at it and you'll end up losing your drone

in the video it looks like you are rotating clockwise while you are rotating. Shouldn't it be rotated counterclockwise ..?

It does not make a difference which way you rotate it, as indicated by the successful message.

hey, i had the same issue with an error message. it's probably because you're movement wasn't fluid enough. do it as dylan does it in the video, this worked for me instantly
