I just bought my mini 2 a few days ago. This is a great tutorial but I’m trying not to watch a lot because part of the fun for me is learning on the fly. Lol. This is my first real drone, before this, I’ve only had those cheap ones from target😂

Newbie reminder, not all courses teach you this and I found pretty interesting to stress it again: Rule number one of taking pictures as open category lesson teach as the video also reminds: do not take pictures in areas that have buildings, trees etc. The modes do need space as the drone will move, automatically.

Agreed. If you want to have even a better result, always perform a test flight first. Observe where the drone is going and keep the controller handy in case you have to stop the drone.

Yes, especially Circle function. CIrcle is a great feature for beginners to lose their drones. It is not recommended to use this function near mountains, buildings, telephone poles, or trees.

I am not able to start the quick shot. When I go into quick shot mode, it lets my draw a box and select the subject but instead of the start button it’s just a normal record button in video mode

This is for all below... To use QuickShot modes from within the DJI Fly app, launch your DJI drone in the air and hover at least 2-metres above the ground. Select the remote control icon at the right of the screen, then select Quick Shot from the icon below the Photo and Video icons.

I have had a few tries at this...no where does anyone actually show this procedure. It's a given: "Select quick shots" - I am not completely thick but I have had the thing off the deck for 2.5 metres and pushed every icon on the right of the screen...can't even SEE a Remote control icon.

1:24 The Circle function is a great feature for beginners to lose their drones. My father sent the air2s 300 meters forward near the mountain and performed this function and The drone crashed and missing. Despit of the gps coordinate and drone search functions were used, the crashed drone could not be found because the crash site was too rough and the bushes and branches were thick.

💥 Some of the best info on this subject of the Mini. Clear and to the point. Is there a way to get it to just hover in place after completing any of the modes and keep recording? I was in an empty parking lot at Stowe mountain after skiing. I did Rocket and wished it would just hover after hitting its set altitude while still keep rolling the tape so we could get in my truck then drive out of the frame 🤟🏼 And to record as it retuned to the start point in your video did you just hit the record button? It really should just keep recording until you stop it.

👋🏽😃Hello to All, I would like say...I really enjoy the Mini ll and all its features...however...now the connection wires are housed in the controller...it would be a more enjoyable experience...if the phone/device end of the connector plug 🔌 was placed at the base of the plug...versus on the side...for if it was at the base of the connector...it could be plugged into the phone/device straight on...therefore...allowing the user to use the controller...without having to remove one’s phone case to plug into the controller...because of the position of the plug wire...other than that...I am enjoying my new Mini ll.😃

What resolutions are quick shots or this? I saw a video that said they are in 1080p? Is that true? I have Mini 1 too and swear quick shots are in 2.7k for that.

No it's not. And it's a common misconception. When you switch to quickshots, you then go back into the camera menu and are able to select 1080p, 2.7k & 4k. KZbinrs need to actually investigate before just saying stuff because alot of people have been turned off by thinking it only quickshots in 1080

Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. In QuickShot Circle mode, the aircraft will automatically adjust its speed based on its distance from the subject, instead of maintaining a constant speed.

@@DJITutorials I had a hard time figuring this out too. The video doesn't actually show the person navigating to the menu. It cuts directly to the menu after it's open. It would be more useful to be able to see what the person is selecting.
