brilliant informative video. For advanced flyers yes i agree, but normal non youtuber just flying auto settings all day long on the mini 4

Yeh - subjective opinion is that using pro settings and sticking to the 180 rule does get slightly better results. BUT you then get limited / interrupted as soon as you turn and face the sun, but even then, you do still get a nice effect.... Ted does seem to know what he's on about 😉🖖

Thankyou buddy - it's been in the works for a while, but just waiting for the right weather - wanted to do it up at 'the horse' but as you could see, there's those guys up there with their big kites. Was v. lucky with the weather all the same.... 🖖

Congratulations on reaching the 1K Subscriber milestone! Keep up the good work! This was a very nice, short and to the point video with only the important info, many thanks! I grabbed a Mini 4 Pro for myself after watching your videos, and now I'm looking into ND filters to fight the harsh sunlight where I live. 😄

Thanks so much! If you can find a combined CPL and ND set, that might be the way to go with that South African sun! Have fun! 🖖

Good info mate i do use them when the sun shines ..so no i don't use them very often ....."sob"
@amoktimeflies4 ай бұрын
Thanks Johnny - I'm kindof in the habit of using them now - tend to keep and ND 32 on as standard. I think this vid sort of shows that there isn't a *massive* amount of difference, but it does add 'nuance'... and yeh - need more sun to get the best use of those higher grade ND filters! (I symapthise with ya mate 🥲🤣) Thanks for watching and the comment 🖖

Absolutely it's a usefull and necessary video ! 👏👏👏👏👏 It was really cool recorded like this with you walking and talking, yes, I know I've seen many others yours in that way, but it's even better, maybe the front camera.
Thankyou mate - yeh - you get me! It's a drone channel so whenever possible, why not try to walk & talk. Except I really need to get better at memorising what I'm going to say so there aren't as many cuts! I can't quite afford a teleprompter yet for the studio, but fitting one to a drone would be pretty much imposs..... oh... wait.... I think I've had another idea for a video... 🤣👍🖖

Have to confess I've never flown a 'non-pro' mini DJI drone, so couldn't tell you, but I do vaguely remember choosing the mini 3 pro over the mini 3 for the upgraded sensor and the obstacle avoidance... Thankyou for watching 🖖

There's no money in reverse engineering these things. Not yet, anyway. The FPV class is where the competitors and innovators live. Perhaps we'll meet there, someday.

Can u do a video on how to transfer your screen rec from your Dji Rc1 controler to the phone
@amoktimeflies4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching buddy - I’ll have a look into it 🤔😁🖖
@firefighterleetiktok854 ай бұрын
DJI have said it’s not possible with the RC2 so I’d assume it’s the same with RC1. That being said you can plug it into a monitor via HDMI just not a mobile device A friend cracked his RC2 screen to the point it would work and forced to buy a new controller.
@amoktimeflies4 ай бұрын
I think the question was about transferring the screen recording rather than watching the live feed. I was going to check tonight as there has been an update to the controllers that allows transfer of cached media - just not sure if it’s available for screen recordings though…

Whoa Love this channel. Btw can i ask what are the ND filter that are essentials? I can buy them piece by piece in my country. May i know ur pick on which nd filter would you only use? I dont want to spend alot to get too many nd filter thats i eventually dont need
@amoktimefliesАй бұрын
Thankyou! That’s a very good question - if I could only have one then my pick would be an ND32 - this is my default filter day to day, just because of the mix of weather we have in the UK. If you have mainly very bright days with few clouds I would possibly recommend the ND64 and conversely if you have mainly cloudy days then possibly an ND16. If you live near water then possibly try to find a polarised ND32 as this would help with reflections and also give more of a saturated look to the image of the sky (which some people like). I hope that’s helpful and thanks for watching!🖖
@MlleVBАй бұрын
@@amoktimeflies Hi thank you for the reply Just subscribed So just skip nd 6, how about nd 64? Is it an essential? Kinda hard to find n64
@amoktimefliesАй бұрын
I use ND64 on very bright cloudless days in the UK so if your weather is primarily like that then I would try to seek one out. Obviously if you are shooting at dawn or dusk though, you may want to take it off. 🖖 oh - and thanks for the sub!

It was kindof in the description of the video, but I have now altered the description to make it more obvious - you’re right though I guess some people would find it a little ambiguous just purely from the video. Thanks for letting me know! 👍🖖
