I just bought one of these. I have a Mavic II Pro telephoto and it’s really nice but two things about it: I live in the US and I’m going to have to get it registered and I have to buy an ID Tag. I will eventually but I really want a smaller drone,something that doesn’t take up a lot of space,The big difference between the two drones are the whistles and bells the Mavic pro two has a lot more features, including collision avoidance, but I usually fly out the open, so I don’t have to worry about collisions. I think this will be a really nice drone.

I just bought one of these. Haven't tried it out yet because it's 118+ in the Phoenix area so I don't want it to ignite in mid air. I have a Air 2 that I use most of the time but this looks like it will be good to toss in my motorcycle saddlebag when I just go out riding and see something interesting. It's unbelievable how expensive they've become. I think I paid 750 for the Mavic pro fly more kit. I was a little unsure being this is pretty entry level but I think it will work out fine.

Yesn't. Yes, it has the same body and pretty much everything as Mini 2 does. But it has 4K camera, which Mini 2 doesn't. So yesn't.

Another awesome video. I think this is a good drone to recommend to my friends who are just getting into the hobby. My question is, do the DJI entry-level drones, such as the Mini 4K, have all of the same automated photo and video features as the mid-level and higher end drones. For example all of the "Quick Shots", "Mastershots" & various pano photo capabilities, etc.

I have had Autel's for years, but I get disappointed when they don't carry replacement batteries for my older models, so I'm done with them. Any drone can be flown indoors. But since this drone does not have proximity sensors on it, meaning it can't detect and avoid walls and other objects on it's own like Mini 3 and 4 can, I do not recommend flying it indoors.

Thank you for the video, Billy. I have some questions. It seems to me that this is the same as the Mini 2, and I was wondering if it is compatible with the Mini 2 batteries. Also, do you know what the bit rate on the camera is? Is it the same as the Mini 2? Additionally, I find it strange that the controller has a slightly different product number. Maybe there is a reason for it; possibly it might be compatible with the standard Mini 3 transmitter. Just a wild guess on my part. Thanks again for the video.

Mini 2 2se and Mini 4k same batterys 100 bit rate Controller I heard is good for 4 hours instead of 6 hours but double check this controller will only work with this drone but the RC-N1 controller will also work with this drone also

I just bought the A3S and I love it and I gave my Mini 2 SE to my father-in-law as a starter drone. But I have to admit I really miss my Mini LOL!!! Hey Billy, Thank you for doing an unboxing and first flight. I can think at least a few improvements to make the Mini 4k an upgrade over the Mini 2 or Mini 2SE. It would need to have things such as improved processing power, O3 transmission minimum and a cheaper price than the Mini 2 but it doesn't have those things. Other than that it apears to be a O2 Mini 2 with a C0 lable. Are there any differences between the Mini 2 and DJI Mini 4k? I wonder if or when but, I wonder if they are going to produce a Mini 4 standard with O4 transmision minus the O/A probably less features. Kinda how they made a Mini 3 Pro into a Mini 3 standard.

Two key reasons the Mini 2 is better, wifi quick transfer, and DJI released the Mini 2 SDK, so 3rd party app compatibility (like Litchi) give advanced features like follow, points of interests, and waypoints. So, if you're a beginner and want maximum bang for your buck and longevity, get a DJI certified refurb Mini 2 over this. DJI Refurb is as good as new (like Apple).

No question is dumb. I had a Mini 2. Looking to get this one. And yes, the camera seems "Floppy" and like it might fall off or something, but it won't. Perfectly normal. When the Drone is on the camera "Stiffens up".
