I have the Mavic Mini and love it. The joy sticks store inside the handles. I considered getting the SE because I believe it has better wind performance than the first Mini. I could be mistaken. The Mini 2 is also under consideration.

Another great video for me! I just found and bought this Mini SE off eBay as an open box item for $267 and that's with tax and everything. It came in perfect condition and is brand new, had to update it but haven't flown it yet, been too busy. Thanks for giving the review...

like ive said on many other channels, this be so fun to have. been looking to get one for years but they have so many restrictions on where not to fly and so many spots are drones banned so its like whats the point then.

They had to be some, I can fly 99% of the time with no problem

@@b4ugo i live in CT and best places are no fly zones. i like to go to NH and saw on map and there is no launching from road or 1/4 mile from parks.

I can say one thing I have found that my mini se is my go to drone now over my phantom . It’s so portable and just as powerful as mini 2 here in Florida we stay with a 15 to 20 mph gust and she does great even at around 200 feet on a windy day . Absolutely amazed at its capability and portability for the price . I’d love to get my first holy stone I’ve seen so many good things on your channel and I just can’t seem to pay mavic 3 price . I just want a nice solid size drone with at least 4 k and stable images . I love flying in marsh and bridge shots so a bigger drone might feel more reliable in those conditions . Love your content and thank you for your reviews 🙏

Rob, nothing comes close to the SE at $299, i did a review on it, i honestly think they sell it to cheap, you will not be disappointed. Happy Holidays

Thanks for the great review, James. I have been binge watching your reviews. Really informative. I bought a mini drone and practiced my orientation like you suggested. I wanted to upgrade to a better one because the DEERC D20 is very hard to fly even with a slight wind. I want to buy my final drone. I don’t do a lot of videos or photos, I just want to have fun flying. I’m looking at the Dji mini SE or the HS510 based on your reviews.. i wonder if it is worth the extra $120 and spring for the DJI? What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

The DJI is more of a professional drone where HS drones are more of a budget drones. You would never lose interest in the ability of the Mini. Did you see the video of me flying around my sailboat?

Have not heard of a new Mini, I know the Mavic3 is coming soon and Autel is coming out with their mini but it’s $750!

Brilliant review with plenty of information. Looking at selling my 600+ grams, size drones and buying that drone as the 249 gram weight would give me more areas to fly and injoy the hobby
