@@b4ugo It was a update for the app as of yesterday and when I updated it problem started happening Having problems with my drone I don't know what's wrong with it it was doing good as of yesterday it created a problem on the app it will only go a certain distance now and then it automatically returns back home I've had it off of beginner mode ever since the first day I bought it because I'm not an amateur flyer and it was going pretty far out but now it will only hit 200mm out then it will automatically return home

Because of this I ordered this model drone for the reasons you mentioned, it's only to mess about with and I am more value for money over status or brand status. Really appreciate your reviews. I find you cover a lot of important content compared to others and I get a good idea of the drones and their capabilities. Thanks to your video on the HS175D I decided on this model as my first real drone. Got it on Amazon for $161 + taxes (was on a lightening deal so promo code did not work, I am guessing). No complaints considering the upgrades to the HS175 which I was already looking at. I have a Eachine E010 (small baby drone) for some years now but I have probably flown it maybe 10 times. Those small drones are tricky to fly and just don't have the battery life (8 mins maybe) to put in the time to become proficient. Looking forward for when I get my order. Thank you.

Good video, but mine sucks. Wifi mostly does not connect, then when it does, calibration says connect first, which I already did. Then it connects and I calibrate it but then the compass calibration does not respond. Then it times out. Then you have to start over. The whole procedure is ridiculous when 1 step does not work. Sending it back.

Awesome, be sure and make a pre-start checklist. Even $10,000 drones have to go through these things, i read about flyaways but I have never had a problem. Except once when I changed a battery and forgot to go through everything again. I cut some pretty good cuts but catching the thing mid air as it was toilet bowling because I skipped everything. Hey folks got a question or two on this one. Most drones can fly without the app or a cell phone but won't record a video or picture without it. This drone has a slot for a memory card so i assume it can do a video without the app or cell phone? Does it take stable good quailty videos?

Sorry so late, what it records to the card is ok, great pictures but video will always be choppy without a gimbal, still a great safe drone to learn on and get good pictures, much safer to make sure its hooked up to satellites

Going to test it today doing a KZbin video to show folks these kind of beginners drones are good for learning to fly them and taking pictures but if they want good videos save up for a 3 axis drone. 800 to 1200 bucks but I think there is one around 500 too. I have a friend who said they have a Mavic zoom 2 and said any DJI drone is good for shooting videos

Try deleting the app and reinstalling it, sometimes it dosnt download correctly as with all drone apps. Also, check out the MC Pro app, i know a lot of people like it better, i have never had a problem with HS apps, as long as I follow a prestart checklist. Thanks for watching

Start Here First, you can fly that drone without the camera, just let it hover a few times and keep it low and slow, you will be fine. Practice going up and then landing first, be sure you remember where all the controls are on the remote. Just takes. Little time. Enjoy

@@txarchdroneguy4731 Everybody needs at least two. A low end, fun one to do flips and tricks with and then either one of their mids at 160ish dollars or a 700E/720E(foldable). The 700E image stabilization has really stepped up the quality of the video/pictures over the 700D. The 720E is nice and portable and fits in a deep pocket on some nice camo shorts. Drone in right bottom pocket or the carrying case, batteries and controller in left pocket or case.

I’ve had this drone for a few days now and love it. But sometimes when I’m flying it the right joystick will all the sudden become opposite direction. Forward is backwards…

I'm going to get that drone, I'm pretty old late 60's and maybe not so pretty, and I've never had a drone before but after checking your video I've just gotta have it. It seems ok for beginners and you explained the brushless motor very well. I have a small bit of experience with that motor in that I found out about them when I was looking into getting a good drill set. Just open it once in each area with wi-if and it will download the data, should keep it so when your away from cell service, but, the drone uses the wifi from the devise and dosnt need cell service

That’s called toilet bowling, try turning off GPS and it flies straight that means it wasn’t a good Compas calibration. Make sure your not near metal when you are calibrating it! Good luck and thanks for watching

Shouldn't the rotations be at the spot you want it to "return to home"?

The return to home is set by the GPS remembering where you took off from, even if you walk 100 feet away, it returns to where it took off from, thanks for the question

Sure, I need to do a deep dive, it’s the same app as a lot of them but I find it easier to use the controller, but your right, I’ll do that next week. The app is glitchy but the controller and drone are not. For the price it’s still a great drone.
