@@momentswithreese When you bought a drone, you paid them for three in advance. You got a new chance, so they are 1.6 drones ahead 🤣. Next time, you need to pay more attention to how many satellites your drone is tracking, the total minimum for GPS support is eight satellites. The minimum means reading the position signal, not necessarily proper flight control. Altitude sensors (like your Neo) are three times cheaper than you think, so they only work up to a certain height, if Neo loses contact with the satellites, it is only controlled by the (three times cheaper than you think) gyroscope, until the altitude sensors regain orientation. By that time, you have to be over land, otherwise you will turn it into a fishing float. As you can see in the video: the gyroscope is too cheap to maintain the level on its own, until it regains contact with the satellites, which is surprising because ordinary toy drones for $30 can do that. I will also add that it is worth checking the K Index, this is information about the possible level of interference due to solar activity. for me the highest level observed was 3, but I live near the equator, I am more protected by the Earth's magnetic field, level K>4 means a magnetic storm on the Sun, and then flying is not safe, signal interference can be large. Solar activity will increase to a peak at the end of 2025, so you have to be careful.

I purchased the refresh cover with my Neo. Within weeks my Neo drowned. DJI dispatched a replacement to me the same day they received my drowned one back. They followed up with a courtesy call to check if everything was ok with the replacement drone.

if by some way you can recover the old Neo you only need to take the battery out and let it dry and it will still work watch I drowned my dron the one where he is on a stand-up paddle board I think it was he leaves the shore and the drone dives strait into the water

Thanks for watching! In both videos, I used nd filters - the first one I used a nd16 and in this latest video I used a nd8. I need to order another 32 and 16ND because the 8 is good but I want a little bit more. In the first video those were done with quick shots so I didn’t have a whole lot of flexibility on camera settings but in this video I set the shutter to 1/60, and auto iso and auto wb. In post I did very minimal color adjustments.

Absolutely the same thing happened to me, the drone was flying over a city pond when it just landed on it's on. DJI offered me a 15% discount which felt like and insult. Luckily the retailer where I bought it made me whole again and swapped the old wet drone for a new one. Thank you Sammy's Cameras! DJI you suck!!!!

loss of control when switching to Sport with Neo is a known issue , DJI should have sent you a new one as they know about this problem, it has been reported by users on DJI's own support forum .

You can take pictures without the remote. You can fly it fully without the remote. I wouldn’t recommend it though. Personally I don’t like flying it w my phone. Feels weird, but it can be done.

Moral of the story: purchase the DJI care and refresh or whatever it's called. Dude paid $120 for his replacement, instead of $90 - and there's very likely no way he'll be able to do that again if he needs to, versus the care and refresh will have at least one more replacement available at the discounted cost. #TotallyWothIt

Crying about 200 bucks haha I lost my DJI mini 4 that's something to cry about but I lost connection and I wasn't high no strong wind warning and i got a new one in guarantee but you can't complain about DJI they do great service! Just don't go buckwild bro!

I know it’s only 200$ but i was still just upset i lost the drone haha I couldn’t imagine losing a high end drone . I’m definitely more cautious now lol
