Same as you. Handy for my youtube channel for short 'snippets' of footage. Just adds a different perspective to videos. Hopefully they'll update the app soon to allow us to alter sharpness etc without a controller. That's why i sold my mini 2. Less gear to carry about. This is ideal as a pocket drone. Having said that, roll on the Neo 2 or Neo pro!

hi I have bought the same drone the Neo and what intrigued me was the same as you that you can use it to get some good b-roll all on your own without needing to use a controller. what also I found great about this drone was the ability to fly it inside a building as it's not looking for any GPS and does as it says on the tin. I'm sure within a short period of time they will send out firmware to improve on the cameras functions has that seems to be the number one gripe everybody seems to have even though it is £169 drone, I love mine cheers Mark

I bought this drone because love cycling with different locations. now im able to capture sceneries that i cant take with my phone. I dont have to bring the RC and it is small and light which is a plus on endurance and long distance riding.

Hi :) I am an older photog (from the late 60's) But, try to enjoy the new tech (In My early 20 I was a PJ at a very large newspaper) n I was the State Champ in Remote controlled race cars :) (so I am not to stupid) BUT.... When You say Goggles are You suggesting that this drone might be controlled with the Goggles ???

Hi. I bought this drone. Like you, I was happy to be able to operate it without a controller. I also have other drones, this one will allow me to work with the camera and fly at the same time. Greetings from Poland

Hi mate, I was thinking of buying a drone for family fun (e.g. following my dog's follies on a walk). Can you use the DJI Neo image in reels together with an iPhone 15 Pro Max or does it look very different? I will use it to make vlogs and making of myself

The footage between different cameras will always vary so will need a bit of editing 'if' that is important to you for a Reel

I've heard it's not great over water. Not many drones are though. Due to the reflections from water on the sensors in the bottom of the drone. Be careful. Am sure I saw a review of a drone where you can turn sensors underneath off to allow low flying and it to be safer over water. The hover or avata maybe? Not sure.

The disappointments for me is it’s not compatible w my Mini2 RC, it’s so loud (I mean for so small how can’t they make it quieter), and the 4k video not better quality and it’s so shaky in follow modes

I sold my mini 2 for that very reason. I bought this. The 1 and 2 use a different signalling technology from controller to drone. Old tech I'm afraid.
