Well done Dan!; great comparison; Video quality I thought depended on the aspect to the Sun; in some cases the HAir looked more natural; other lighting; NEO looked quite good; last but not least, I agree with your comment on the Neos sound; lets hope some low noise props are in the pipeline !!!

Yes, I agree. Both cameras performed well in different situations. The focus of the next Neo should be on reducing propellor noise.

Someone suggested Gemfan 5 blade props for the Neo as they claim it makes it much more quiet, nothing to lose, so I have ordered some only $8 for 8 props, including shipping.

@DansTubeTV For sure, there is less high-pitched sound and does not seem to carry the sound near as far. Factory props could still hear the drone 600 metres away! These ones silence at same range. The only issue with the props in the factory props are shorter screws so they need longer screws, or do what I did and just drill out the props very carefully so that the screws fit, not to long and not to short

I have the Neo, but I think the color looks more neutral on the X1. Flare resistance is not very good though.

Interesting, I was impressed by the video quality from the X1 as well.
