Yeah for running it will not be good. 2 axis have limitations, but it is a good gimbal if you are ok with the 2 axis

Another great one Otto! From all these features, it does seem like the OM4 might be the better deal in the end. Even though twice as expensive, if you do any action shots or moving around at all, the third axis makes a big difference. I think the biggest selling point for me might be the battery life being three times as long. On other note... they can both fit in your pocket?? Not if you're wearing skinny jeans! Nice video my friend; great review!

Hey, great video! What happens if you step out of sight and step in back while the Zhiyun’s app is tracking you? Can it detect you again? I hate OM4’s active tracking and will return it. I need a simpler gimbal. Its magnetic system is nice, but I can’t use my phone without a case. So I have to attach the clips first because it is not convenient to use or put in the pocket with the clips.

To be honest I can't remember the tracking on the zhiyun, but you need to know that the this zhiyun is a 2 axis gimbal, no tilting and it's almost a downgrade from the om4. Did you watch my Hohem iSteady X video? When you step back in into the tracking it detects you. Amazing feature compared to the OM4

I was looking at the OM4 until I read the comments on Amazon calling it garbage. Somebody said hated it out of the box. For under $100 I would spend the wheel on that but $150 no. Didn't feel like a return situation.

yeah I've seen those bad reviews. Many times it's their first gimbal and they expect it to make miracles, others want it to move exactly like their old gimbals, and well...I think it's just about getting used to the speed and movement. It does have room for improvement but in my opinion it's good.

I went with the extend arm. Wouldn't call it a selfie stick when you can extend the arm in tripod mode and angle it. Gives you some flexibility for creativity.

That's a wide budget range. Skip this XS then. I have many gimbal comparisons you should check them out. Q3 is a good option as well as the OM4
