DJI Osmo Action 4: Hanging Camera Neck Mount

This is the DJI Osmo Action Hanging Neck Mount. I just got this in the mail along with a ton of other accessories, I can't wait to tryout.
Today I am just trying out the neck mount and giving my first impressions on it.

I have the Telesin neck mount and it is a bit too small for my neck, and I see DJI neck mount is not bigger. I know Telesin have a bigger one, but it doesn't look big enough to cover my neck with jacket up to my chin. But they are perfect for POV and give more stable footage than using a head-mount.

Something I'm not seeing anyone do is mount this setup vertically. Sure we can crop horizontally, but you get extra useful FOV/resolution going native vertical. Cool unique perspective for 9:16 content, stories/reels/tiktoks etc

Telesin had this long back... very feasible for straight views... luv it for the ease of use....but if u want to give a realistic pov u need head or helmet mounts as they turn left or right with your head...

Great video man! I have one and I love it ... for walking... if you run with it will bounce a little bit and hit your sternum a little bit and will add also a hit sound, I saw a video when a guy added like a cord around the back to keep it first, so you can try that and will fix both issues. Still an amazing product sooo light and well done, is just that contant bounce and hit in my chest what I don't like while running. but nothing is perfect hehehehe.

I would shoot in 4K60 for running. 4K30 for walking and 4K24 for standing not much movements.

I would say your right based on how you can slow down the footage with 4k60! But I think using 30 vs 24fps becomes a style choice. And 24fps is smaller files too, with less frames!

@@BGoodman you still can slow down 4K30 about 20% so looked like 24fps. That's why I shoots in 4K30 a lot. With 24fps, you can't really slow down anymore. It looks skipping and lagging frame rate.

No, I think this goes up and down more. But to me the stability cancels it out. And the mount is less to carry and use. But I would say it does bob more!

Adapter mount is magnetic in neck mount? Or not?

The neck adapter has GoPro feet, and the GoPro feet on the bottom of the camera magnetically attach. So if I leave that mount connected, I can attach an on attach the camera very easily.

How much money will DJI have spent on marketing to promote the Action 4? I have recorded 162 videos on KZbin. Never in all the years that I have used the platform have I seen something like this, not even Apple dared to do so! Furthermore, this camera is not something that is going to revolutionize the market, it is still more of the same with a lot of advertising behind it.

For Camera With price half of Go Pro 12 and Ace Pro (in my country). DJI Osmo Action 4 is the best. Why do I need to buy Go Pro 12 and Ace Pro with that much expensive if I can buy the cheaper camera with similar quality and better user interface. Easy to use easy to set up. 🤣
