I deeply appreciate you sharing these settings. Personally, they will be very useful to me. The video on ND filters is sure to be great as well. Best regards

Yes, I’ve been really happy with it so far. Some nice improvements over the Action 4 and a definitely a fun camera for time lapses.

Very good video, helps a lot! I'm looking to make a long term time lapse of a construction project. I've seen the Osmo Action 5 also now has an integrated timer function, allowing you to preset a start time, and have the camera start with (in this case) the time lapse recording automatically. I want to record an entire day of constructions, but the timelapse recording time seems to max out at 5 hours (or infinite) as you've shown. Ideally, the camera would record for 10 hours, then power off, and turn on the next day at the same time to capture the next day of constructions. Is there a way to get this done? I appreciate your time to look into this! Cheers :)

Can you make a video about how to use ND filters in general for the action 5 please?🙏🏻 thanks for the quality content

Absolutely. It is one I am working on right now in fact.

You don't use ramping for sunrise/sunset time-lapse?
@GreatDayForAHike26 күн бұрын
With a DSLR or mirrorless and an intervalometer, sure. With an action camera, no 😃

Just wondering why you say "hunderd" when the word is "hundred"?
@GreatDayForAHike25 күн бұрын
Thank you for this profound question. If you really must know, I expect this is because I grew up around someone who also said that word in this fashion and sometimes without thinking the mispronunciation will come out. I hear all humans have a few words like this. Thanks for helping point out incorrect pronunciations to those of us who struggle with this so we can work on this.
@mat-ventures25 күн бұрын
@GreatDayForAHike yeah I understand. I have also heard "nukelar" instead of "nuclear" or "excape" instead of "escape". I must notice this since English is not my first language

@mat-ventures Yeah, I have not yet achieved pronunciation perfectionism in everything 😂

this is the worst camera ever from dji. the image quality is abysmal even after the latest update with increased bit rate. do not purchase this garbage camera
@GreatDayForAHike26 күн бұрын
I actually consider it the best one so far from DJI. I say that as one who bought this camera with my own money and have no affiliation with DJI. I also say that as someone who has over the years considered GoPro the better camera. DJI has come a long way.

@@petrub27 learn some manners. In your own opinion the camera isn't suitable. But don't impose your negative opinion in comparison where it isn't required kid. This video is about Dji camera time lapse. But it's not about good, better & best. Do you use the best camera in the world or are you a expert? If that is so then simply post a video & that's it. You've inferiority complex and narcissistic behaviour I can also assume that without not knowing who you're.

@petrub27 It’s okay to disagree. If you believe this is the worst camera ever from DJI, then I recommend you look elsewhere for a camera you like better.
