Hi, I got this gimble S2, having issue with it, couldnt find any information anywhere. I cant turn the Landscape mode, On the manual it says with the double click of trigger button it can turn into landscape mode, and when I do that it goes in landscape DM inception mode and keep spinning. I have tried everything, One click, two clicks, 3 and hold it for bit of time, but it- doest turn into landscape mode. Would you be able to help if you know how to fix this?

Tried these settings twice and my old iphone does better. I don’t know how to access the raw files and edit them. Maybe I am, I can’t tell. I get little improvement with lightcut. The sky is mostly dark, but I see plenty of stars with my eyes. I forgot to raise the iso!

No camera is perfect. The GoPro has pros and cons like every other action camera or any camera for that matter. I say that as one who owns a variety of cameras from various brands.

@GreatDayForAHike you're just making an excuses for a camera that's expensive , People buy a GoPro because it's supposed to be a rugged camera and should work as advertised in all environments , (with- in sensible reason ). They're overclocking a old CPU ( because they're trying to add features ) therefore it generates more heat than intended, that's why you get overheating and instability/ lag, UI.. because they don't want to change to a better processor because that costs money ..( Adding a heat sink would be more cost-effective, and add a bigger battery because the battery drain will be higher. ) remember heat is energy lost ..... they're still charging a premium price. The camera should not overheat simple as . Example they're using a processor made on the 12 nanometre node . Pioneered in 2016 . Very cheap to buy now .... DJI are using the 4nm node, latest tech . A lot faster and efficient CPU . But a lot more expensive to buy. Only TSMC can make them , using EUV .. this is the stuff you should be covering .. but everybody's a simp for GP and the customers pay for it .. you would get a lot more views if you were actually critical and knowledgeable .. would you be happy with a car that you can only drive so far because it overheated. Then tell people they're driving it wrong 🤔

If the GoPro isn’t what one wants then one should buy a different camera. No one is forced to buy a GoPro. I’ve been happy with GoPros and I’ve also been happy with competing brands. Each have features where they shine and each has their own cons as well.

Footage is very bad, frame-rate is low, there is micro stuttering, it's just over-brightened with no new low-light information over Osmo Action 4. Checking this video over the Osmo Action 4 review video, this one looks like 10 years older tech. Of course, I'm evaluating this particular video, on my way to check other night recordings. Perhaps settings are mediocre here.

Great video, thank you. It looks good even with hypersmooth turned off. I'm going to buy this gimbal for my Hero 4 Black. And I will also use it on my Action 4 and SJ8 PRO.

but ive noticed bad focusing in the corners when shooting in 180 degrees angle...i think this is where DJi offers better quality in...GoPro often has blurry corners

To be fair to the GoPro, I’ve noticed softer/somewhat blurry corners with all action cameras in the corners when shooting at 180 degree shutter angle. See some of the samples from this recent video with the Action 5: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKiraoWEo86ql9Esi=bzRlH4eO7mD3vu7V

Dji has the worst soft footage from any action camera be it mid or corners I have gp13 & dji action 5 ... And the action 5 has the softest footage

Yes, this has been my observation as well. I like the Action 5 too and it has its own pros and cons just like the GoPro.

GoPro Volta is great if you want extra power as the power it stores is equivalent to about 4 GoPro batteries. The Volta does not have any gimbal functionality though. So if you need a gimbal this is where the iSteady Pro 4 fulfills this need.

Yes, it can be used as a power bank to charge the GoPro. You’ll need to use the USB cable that comes with the gimbal if you’re going to have the GoPro mounted when using it as it’s a tight fit to get to the USB-C port on the side of the GoPro.

Hey, great video! Really gave an nice alternative and I will definitely give it a try. Perhaps you can give some recommendations. If in the future I would choose to use gimbal, do you recommend any specific one. Or do you suggest then switching to pherhaps the dji osmo cameras?

Tried the settings. Most of my videos turned out very dark. My advice - try out settings to learn how to set. But then set your own

As a backup to my main camera. I've been using my Gopro for the feature photo night lapse on auto for years now. At the end I have a ton of photos at random exposures and most of the exposures end up around 1-3" up to :30. I cannot figure out a good setting for this yet on the Action 5, Does anyone have any advice for setting this up as an easy preset? I always ended up with a few cool unexpected photos. Thanks

I picked up the Adventure 2 about a year and a half ago and just about to hit 2000 miles. I ride mine much like you do. A lot of gravel, bumpy dirt, and grass. I would really recommend adding a suspension seat post. Makes a world of difference.

Hello, I appreciate that you've taken the time to create this instructional video. I just got my insta360 x4. I have absolutely no knowledge as to how to use it or edit the video. I plan to make videos of my explorations on a motorcycle. As I followed your video I was able to gather some good information. I did want to mention that when you were going through the editing options, you were moving so fast that I had difficulty seeing where these various options were located. As you were moving along it was just too fast for a beginner like myself. I really would have liked to see you pause and take a moment to point out what each option was and where you were locating these options. I could see that you were so familiar with the various functions that you perhaps didn't take into consideration that newer visual learners need to have things pointed out with a bit more detail. With all of that said, I'm not being critical of you. Just trying to point out that us newbies get pretty overwhelmed when things are explained so fast. Step by step would be a nice way of explaining the various functions. Would you consider making shorter videos about the editing process that go into detail a little slower and deeper. Perhaps not so many functions at a time? Thank you, much appreciated!

Wow! Exactly the video i needed to convince me to upgrade from the A3 to the A5. The A3 is really poor in low light with all the smearing. Its a travel camera for me to complete my Osmo Pocket 3 when its wet, rains or at the beach. Thank you! Liked and subscribed! 💪

Hey, we’ve all got different ways of organizing 😂 Some gear is legit harder to organize than other gear. My main goal is for this bag to contain equipment where I know where it is and in such a way that it will not get damaged. This bag is still used by me to this day and has held up really well.

Warning ⚠️ hi, I just cancelled my order DJi Pro 5 because the shipping take way more what they said, and that customer service could not help with that I did not want to do business with them because they do not care at all and even this morning when I checked my order status the camera was still in DJi depot that mean not shipped yet and no shipping label created

Sorry you’re experiencing a delay. I have no affiliation with DJI. I simply buy a few of their cameras and drones but so far I’ve not had a bad shipping experience yet with them but I realize these things do happen sometimes.

What's causing the distortion in the begining of this video scene? I recorded several night scenes with this action 5 and I'm getting a bad distortion when I checking the video in premier pro. I didn't manually change anything on the camera and I recorded it in 4K ultra wide Rock Steady. My next use I'll be adjusting the ISO in manual mode and setting it to wide view at 4k 30 to see if the ultra wide is creating the problem. I see it here in your night video as well, is it the camera or do we need a new firmware update? Thanks for making this video.

They are specifically made for auto Manual Settings. It's job is basically reduce the light entering to your censor so you have control.

Just upgraded from oa3 to oa5pro hope after the winter time my mtb footage will be great for now I will use your settings from this video but without a gimbal. Can you recommend me some settings for snowboarding footage ?
