Function over features when using only with Filmic Pro: DJI OSMO 2 = better tracking and stability than the other gimbal with their own app (very basic gimbal). To recharge need to use Samsung USB Fast Charging only. No Wireless charging support. Better stability with Filmic Pro. Moza Mini Mi = 360 degrees inception mode. Can tilt up and down. Wireless charging support. Moza Mini S = inception mode does not turn all the way 360 degrees, can tilt up and down, the back motor will block wide camera mode / bigger phone (example Galaxy S8+, Note 8, S9+, Note 9, S10+, Note 10, etc...). No Wireless charging support. Snoppa ATOM = the back motor not blocking the wide camera mode / bigger phone (example Galaxy S8+, Note 8, S9+, Note 9, S10+, Note 10, etc...). Can't tilt up and down. Wireless charging support. DJI OSMO 3 = new release, no one mention about the back motor blocking the rear camera yet for wide camera mode / bigger phone (example Galaxy S8+, Note 8, S9+, Note 9, S10+, Note 10, etc...). DJI copy the design from Snoppa ATOM so probably not. Can't tilt up and down. No Wireless charging support.

Please be aware that DJI Mimo APP for Osmo Mobile 3 supports 4K30, 4K60 only, no 4K 24 for cinematic footage. A lot of new features cannot be used without the app.

Don't forget to install the DJI Mimo app and activate the gimbal through Bluetooth connection first before you can use it.

My phone (Oppo Reno 2) is not fully compatible with Osmo Mobile 3. The video recording will stop for no reason if I use the DJI Mimo App. Any recommendations on how I can use Osmo Mobile 3 without Dji Mimo?

That sounds like a bug in the Mimo app. You might want to file a bug report if you want them to fix it. Unless you want to use some of the features that Mimo offers such as subject tracking, there's no reason to use it because it's not a good video app. Use another camera app. I use the Moment app on the iPhone. Use the OM3 as usual. You just need to touch the record button on the phone to start recording.

@@KKAw49 I bought FilMIC pro and the cinematography package for my LG V30+, and the exposure lock was not working so I asked for a refund. Also, it did not support OM3. I'm quite happy with the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Moment app.

Hi, Drone Nerds, nice video! I have an issue with my Osmo Mobile 3, it's just not working, the status LED indicator blink red and green (That indicator mean that there is a new firmware available or firmware update failed), so I updated it a few times and nothing helps. DJI Support suggest replacement or refund. But It is so so disappointing experience!!! I just want it work!

I have an Osmo Mobile 2. In my experience using the joy stick to control tilting and panning results in jerky motions which are too fast. From watching this video, it seems that the motions are now smoother and slower, making them much more refined and usable. Do you find this to be true?

I just got my Osmo mobile 3. Just wonder if you have difficulty filming at low angle while walking forward. I am sorry for the lay-man term. I think there is a terminology for this description. With Osmo mobile 2, I can simply push the joystick all the way up and hold the gimbal near my ankle pointing forward (like angle from puppy). I can't do that with Osmo mobile 3 now.

as of feb 13, 2020 dji osmo mobile 3 still does not support filmic pro, and judging by filmic pro comments on forums, the osmo sdk as it stands todays is too buggy for the filmic pro support staff to program the filmic pro compatability. this is so bad for the osmo mobile 3 users who do not have filmic zoom, subject continuous follow, quick switching from photo to video. osmo 1 & 2 were eventually supported by filmic pro. but, its filmic pro that must support osmo and filmic pro has said in many forums, their staff finds the osmo sdk just way too buggy to work with their filmic pro code. so far, osmo has dismissed any hint that they would work on their sdk. The Zhiyun smooth 4, freefly movi sdk"s do work with filmic pro although many of us prefer the actuals physical performance of osmo 3. sad situation. also only 30 fps 4k and many slow mo problems for android users like me

om3 only support 30 fps for andorid，if you want slow motion in 4k，forget it。 and om3 is not a professional gimbal， so many tiny problems you will find。

This DJI Mimo app does not support FHD 60fps even my phone new Samsung A70 is capable for this recording mode. DJI please look into this and hope the update available soon.

@@braydenskidsshow6778 using DJI mini app the most is 1080p at 30fps with Android devices. If using the camera app come with the phone can record 60psf but certain feature such as record button control or active tack are not available. Recording has to be done by pressing the button on the phone instead of on the Osmo 3 handheld unit.
