I just bought my Osmo Mobile 6 and first thing I did was search it on YT like I do with any new device I purchase. I have to tell you, this is the most detailed, informative, useful, INTERESTING, practical, and THOROUGH tutorial I have ever seen on KZbin. Yeah he's the Ike guy who explained getting the shots actually steady . I have came here for that to very very good and a lil repetitive talk is fine because I found myself rewinding in parts but gotten to find hell explain again this was sooo helpful I think you having to hold it steady and think like e cinematographer , while it would be great if the shots just came out, super smooth without bouncing while walking automatically, I I think this is going to help inform how I film and help me be a better filmmaker/just better at capturing photo and video in general. Can't expect a $90.(got mine on sale.) piece of tech to do everything for you, I do wish you could program camera movements like having to do a slow pan and stuff or specific stuff for filming alone.

thanks JD, quite helpful. i moved from Zhyihun to DJi, i faced some problems with the former, sometimes it acts up and the axis does not work as expected one time i failed completely, the good thing that the Zhiyun as over the DJis is that it has a built in Flash with multiple LED color cover options

Loving the consistency that I’ve already used similar functions here with the Osmo 6 that is also used similarly in my Action 4 camera, (Mimo) and in flying the Mini 4 Pro’s active track features. It’s not practical for it. There are a bunch of DSLR gimbals designed for cameras though. They typically weigh more than phones, so the gimbals are more powerful and expensive.

Great video, will the phone clamp on this fit over larger phones (pixel 8 pro) with a good case on or will it need to be no case or a very slim one? I've just bought a new phone and it's stabilization is ok but I'd like to try to do more filming on it and think this would be a useful tool. Wil this work as a tripod too? Could it do phone level astro or would that be better on a camera tripod be better?
