@ I just ordered it today. Although I’m not sure about the top cage limiting range of clear view, I got it as well. I figure it would be good for a handlebar ebike setup which is mostly forward looking. For $10 it’s good to have options for extra protection. Thanks again.

A great idea in theory and I thought I had found the perfect solution for protecting the Pocket 3. Unfortunately, however, there is one major drawback that I hadn't considered and it turned out to be a showstopper: the case, as a thick, black shell that completely encloses the camera, inevitably causes it to overheat after a relatively short time during longer shots in warm weather (several shots lasting 5 to 10 minutes). This is likely the reason why DJI did NOT provide the Pocket 3 with a fixed protective cover: the camera needs air to dissipate the heat. A "winter coat" like this case considerably hinders cooling and the camera switches off after a while. You then have to take the Pocket 3 out of the case to let it cool down, which is ultimately frustrating and counterproductive.

Without battery handle is nicer because then the Pocket3 internal battery can drain more regularly. The battery handle being always attached keeps the Pocket3 always charged 100% which would shorten the battery life.

That case is insanely too big. By the way, your link in the description for the Pocket 3 actually takes you to the Pocket 2 creator kit.

Hi.. thanks for watching.. and I have fixed the link.. Yes I bought the big one but there are smaller sizes you can pick from. It looks bigger on camera but it is about the same size as the camera in the stock case. If you are considering protection and need something smaller check out the shorter handle one without the battery or the new slim one.
