I've already decided to go with the FeiyuTech Pocket 3. Had it a month and am really pleased with the video it produces. The audio straight out of the camera is a bit pants, but nothing a good fiddle around with in Davinci Resolve's Fairlight won't fix. DJI missed a trick with their Pocket 3 and went for the Vertical Video thing instead of making the entire gimbal head removable, wireless and magnetic like the Feiyu Pocket 3. The Feiyu Pocket 3 also shoots native full resolution vertical video, which I believe the previous DJI Pockets didn't. And if you look at the shot in the video of the two DJI Pocket 3s side by side, one in portrait and one in landscape, you can see that the gimbal hasn't rotated. Does this mean the DJI Pocket 3 also doesn't give native full res in portrait?? [Glad to be corrected on that] All in all, I'm glad I went for the Feiyu, even if it does add a few minutes onto the editing process to adjust the audio levels.

I hope so! But DJI do like to sell us new stuff. Plus this is a whole new generation so I expect no backward compatibility beyond the universal mount.

i had the last one , sorry but it was absolutely shite . It went back after a couple of weeks . personally I feel that iPhone pros video cameras do a decent job these days And that's all you need .. however I will be looking forward to seeing what the reviews are like once it's released and so on ...

@@Geeksvana I have to be honest I do feel the screen could be a game changer . having a screen that rotate and be clearly viewable could change my mind . And sort out the battery problem oh overheating problems as well . The last model ( which was the first one I've ever purchased I must add) was just not worth the money I paid for something that was just not complete and clearly had a lot of problems still .. but if it letdown personally for a DJI product. as everything else I've purchased in the past has been absolutely amazing ...

I agree with you. It’s why I barely used my osmo pocket 2. The iPhone is loads better and put that on a gimbal. Sometimes a pocket 2 is nice. More discreet, less affected by wind. Lighter smaller setup for example if you were doing a bike setup for night shot. I need this 3 version to match an iPhone

@@WillEDC absolutely spot on my friend everything you say is exactly how I felt .. I ended up buying a Osmo on there instead. And even then to be honest with you I don't even use that very much 😊😊. The cameras on the iPhone promax models with stabilisation are just so good these days.. will be interesting to see how good this new one is going to be ..

Of course not. You can not seal the 3 moving gimbal parts.

Definitely doesnt look like kt has a 1 inch sensor, or at least a lens that will project a picture of the full area of the span ultimately utilizing it. Otherwise it’s just a sell point. I actually wish they made the square head we have been seeing in alleged leaked designs all along, similar to an action camera

@@BoomerangBananas they wont be wrong if they say they have a 1 inch sensor if they do, but if they use it like phones do, the xperia pro, and the vivo pro phones. They all have a 1 inch sensor built in but not all sensor area is used

It looks like an Air2s head, which also uses a full 1 inch sensor with f2.8 glass. It's definitely do-able at this size, but I'd be curious to see if (and how) they achieve f1.8 glass in a pocketable size.

@Geeksvana sadly it will be off the tables for me ! I have a go pro hero 11 and it's versatile in all weather's, but considering the pocket 2 was around 450/500 I'd say that would be a bang on assumption of the price we might expect :)
