That lighting flicker is really severe when you passed those back lit signs. I'm assuming there is a setting to switch framerates in various regions cuz I know PAL/NTSC differences of 50/60fps can change how that's recorded on most, just never had one of these types of cameras myself.

Just the video i was waiting for. Was thinking of getting one myself. The first batch came into our shop and was immediately sold out. Looks great. Audio can still be better (DJI mics are a bit flat), but at least external is also an option. Thanks for the walk. ps. reguarding the bounce, their probably is a software stab. option, but that will lower the resolution. I am curious about the low light quality and possibility of light flares, like iPhones. From what i have seen from others it looks good.

I have the Osmo Pocket 1 / Original version and your footage looks very nice and sharp and the camera did well even without an ND filter. Vertical motion is noticeable but that is to be expected. I have a Scotty Makes Stuff stabilizer to reduce / mitigate this but if I get this new Osmo Pocket version, I'll probably need to buy another one since the models differ in physical size. Overall, very impressive. I'd like to see its low light performance in low light conditions with that 1" sensor though. Thanks. Video - LIKE 👍
@solraclives Жыл бұрын
I also have the one and the big screen and quality of the 3 looks great. I just wished they could have worked on a better gimbal system that makes the vertical bounce less noticeable.
@STOPsignforRT Жыл бұрын
@@solraclives FYI - They do make 4th axis stabilizers that will dampen the vertical movements. I got mine from 'Scotty Makes Stuff'. It works well on the original Osmo Pocket. However, since this Osmo Pocket is new and larger, it make take a little time for the manufacturers to develop one for the Pocket 3 which I am planning to get in the future.

Does Tokyo operate on 50Hz or 60Hz? If 50, would a 50p frame rate have may any difference with the flickering neon lights? Also, was the DJI 3 operating in "auto" mode with camera selected shutter speed? Thanks for the video. Very useful for potential buyers. Think I'll buy one as soon as my budget allows.
@TokyoExplorer Жыл бұрын
It's 50hz in Tokyo. All settings on auto. Most likely it can't get a suitable shutter speed without ND filters.

you would need to change the shutterspeed and find something that is out of synch with the lights. It all depends on the quality of the leds and the country you are in. I'll have to check if there is an option to shoot off speed. edit: ah. no need. there is an anti-flicker mode that should avoid this. (page 17 of the manual)
