I purchased it, it will fit nicely in a standard jeans pocket. That is the biggest advantage, as the best camera is the one that you carry with you. And it happens to be an advanced one too!

Try putting it on the end of the 3m extension pole (Insta 360) with it on tilt lock , it makes for an amazingly cheap crane, worked well on the Pocket 2 looking forward to using it on the 3. (You can remote control it with your phone using a small rig phone clamp on the pole base 😀)

Been absent from the comments for a bit, sorry about that. I have the first generation pocket, love it and use it all of the time. I will often hand it to another person while I use a different more complicated camera. This is a serious upgrade and a huge jump is capabilities. Might need to head out and get one.

That 1" sensor is something else. The only small cameras on the market with 1" sensors are the Insta360 One RS 1" and the 360 edition and it's gonna be a while before we see a 1" on a GoPro or an iPhone

DJI really needs to add a quarter 20 to the body of the Pocket already. Why need an extra? Would also be cool if the tripod legs could fold out of the actual Pocket, similar to the Insta360 Flow. Does the new DJI Mic2 work with the DJI 2 Mic original's receiver?

This looks great! I’m still happy with my Pocket2 but I have to admit that I don’t use it as often as I wish I would. For me this gimbal style is just to fragile. So I prefer my iPhone.

the same for me. DJI leaves too often the sw in the dust and the gimbal is limited to "clean" situations. If it rains, dust, sports, etc, it's too sensible/fragile. If its like the pocket 2, it'll get a couple of updates and call it a day...

As a professional video editor, sound is very important. I need to know that if you pair two microphones, will they be isolated to their own side of a stereo track so that I can easily change the level of one audio track to match the other audio track? Or, when using two paired mics, so I can silence the mic on the person who is off camera and chatting with someone? In the last section of your video, when you were attaching a screw-on extension stick and holding the DJI Osmo away from you, your audio faded and indicated that we were hearing the camera's built-in mic(s) and not the mic on your shirt. Was there a problem there that you could not use the mic on your shirt? Is the internal recording on the wireless mic 32bit Float recording? Finally, this DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera produces STUNNING video, but if I can't separate the audio from two mics in post then it'll be a deal killer for me. Finally, a big nit from me, but not a deal killer, that I also have with Rode WirelessPro audio system is the logo branding and shiny surface of the wireless mic. That is SO not pro! Rode even produced an in-house video where the presenter had a mic on her lapel and the reflective surface kept flashing studio lights into the camera as she moved. SO not pro!

Rode Wireless Pro mics do not which really slows down Multicam creation bc all clips start at zero time code. It doesn’t matter if the clock is set. Final Cut can instantly space stop/start recording in a multicam by just looking at time that passed between each audio clip. Without knowing how much time has passed between audio clips, Final Cut is forced to examine all Audio to find matches.

Sorry, I can't answer that question because you can't find any specifications for the Mic 2 yet. You can't buy it individually yet. But that will probably come. What I know is that the Pocket 3 can generate a timecode.
