Great little comparison - thank you :) The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a much more pleasing picture IMO. Your skin tone looks more natural and seems to have a nicer DOF. The mic is an asset too!

Thanks for creating this comparison video on a cold snowy day! The DOF and skin tone of the pocket 3 work well compared to the iphone front cam. However the white balance of the footage shot at the bridge seemed better on the iphone when the footages are placed side by side. Apple should develop a really good gimbal, puzzles me why don’t they do so since they keep promoting the video capability of its iphone.

Hello from France and thank you for this video! Yes a comparing test between ZV1 and pocket 3 would be great, I have a ZV1 for my professional videos and this pocket 3 is giving me the eye :) (I got a question: why did you tell "it's a good gift for the next holydays" and not "for Christmas"? It's not a dirty word ;) )

I don't think a smartphone is at all practical for filming, it's not made for that in terms of grip. The osmo pocket is lightweight, so you can hold it with one hand and point it wherever you want. Tracking faces and objects is perfect, and you can concentrate on moving around (on foot, by bike, on rollerblades, etc.) without putting yourself in danger or missing a shot. You'll always get better shots with an osmo pocket. And its low-light performance is second to none to any smartphone, of course.
