For reference in case someone asks you. The connection to mimo app on some Samsung's including mine is unstable but I found a consistent solution. You connect mimo to op3 normally from device - connect. If the connect button reappears you click the android circle that takes you to the home screen and then click on the app again. This will show you that op3 was connected but the view on the mimo app failed to update. This works perfectly for me. On the net there's no answer to my knowledge so if you can replicate the error it's a video idea until DJI fixes it.

I've livestreamed many times with this camera, no issues. Still I wish they'd updated the FW with 4K in livestreaming mode. Let it draw more power and maybe even gets hotter, but it would be nice..

Hi Vic, I use Mac Osx and I can't see the "advanced options" to activate the audio from the Pocket Go 3. Is there some "show advance settings" to activate on OBS? I thought the software options were the same from Windows/OSX. Nice video by the way! Thank you.

I'm having the same issue.. there's no option to add the OP3 audio. Hopefully he gets around to answering this.

Haven’t tried it on Mac to be honest. Running the latest version of OBS? That aside you could try adding an audio device in OBS and see does it show up there

Thanks for the great video Vic. I have a question, is there a way that the computer can remember the webcam settings in OBS because it's a bit of a bummer to set everything each time. I know when we're not in webcam mode that it works, but in webcam mode, it forgets everytime. Any idea anyone ? Thanks in advance ! :) Also, it'S strange though because my pocket 3 burns 25% every hour.. dunno why. Any idea ? I actually learned that there's trick that we can use so that the USB gives enough power so that we dont lose battery. It's by using something like the iDsonix Hub USB 3.0 . In case other people like me don't want to worry about battery life.

I was not even thinking of this when I ordered mine. I was thinking I would have to record and post later. This is so useful as I can now record zoom meetings also. This camera really does seem to do it all. It was also not easy to find. There is one left in stock in all of Ontario at some best buy. Everyone orders online as I did. I ordered from a store in Toronto and I see it is shipping from the US. So no one really has these in stock it seems. I would prefer to go to the store and pick it up like the old days when many stores carried most of the latest electronics. Canada has slim pickings these days. It is the same with our groceries. We have half the items to choose from as we did 4 years ago.

For me, it crashes occasionally, forcing me to leave the meeting and come back. Also, what's the longest you've used it for? Mine's battery runs down faster than the USB-C can charge it.

I've used mine a few times for face time and zoom calls a few times now and it always over heat around 40mins so I stopped using it for calls. Also no playback on the phone app.

She is missing 60 frames in the OBS program, even if you switch in the camera itself, the OBS sees only 30 (I already tried it with several computers, apparently the problem is in the firmware

that's exactly what I wanted to know about. I will only buy it if this issue is solved. There is so much discussion on the web about it not working as a webcam at 60fps.

I have a powered USB hub (Anker 7-Port USB 3.0 Data Hub with 36W Power Adapter) and have had NO issues with power. I've left the webcam on over night, no issues, and the P3 was just warm, not hot. I have not been impressed with OBS. I set up 2 or 3 scenes, it'll work fine one time, then the next, the camera is all out of whack, it's like it randomly changes the settings. I gave up, switched to Screen Studio (which has it's own webcam issues, but I work around it)

I got the mic 2 to work and am now using the pocket 3 as a webcam and the audio on the mic 2. However now I am having major issues on the webcam freezing up every 5 minutes ugghhh

Hey great tutorial my only issue is every time I use this within an OBS to go live either on KZbin or Facebook the 10 P image whether is 30 FPS or 60 FPS it’s just a little square in the middle of the OBS string. So I have to drag it make it wider, but by doing that the image is diminished to quality. How is your drag it like that and still maintain the sharpness and clarity and quality?

No idea to be honest. Impossible to figure it out but the one thing you should check is the canvas / screen size in OBS settings.

@@VicBarry I’ve done that’s and made sure it’s size and output is 1080p…. This doesn’t problem doesn’t happen when using FB or KZbin directly but it happens only in OBS

Most computers won't have enough voltage going through the USB ports for constant power. Others seemed to have good success with a USB hub

Hey there. A firmware update? Once you connect it to your phone with the DJI Mimo app, and the phone is connected to the internet, you should be notified of a firmware update (if any) - Are you sure it's not running the current firmware?

Brother I was hoping to get your help. When I hooked up the usb to my lap top the pocket 3 is NOT asking if I would like to use this as a webcam. It does not give any option. Then i get a DATA LINK trying to load but Windows says usb device not reconized. Can you help? Any idea what i can do so i can use the dji pocket 3 as a webcam? I went out and bought the insignia usb cable and file transfer cable.

I also noticed something strange. when I turn the camera off and it charges, every minute or so, we hear the sound associated with a USB connecting and disconnecting, which is annoying since I need to unplug the cable for the sound to stop. Any idea ? Thank you once again for your great videos ! 🙌

7:46 you mentioned a YT livestream you did with the Pocket 3, but I guess you don't make your livestreams public? Any chance you could post an Unlisted link to it? I've got my own P3 set up as a web cam in my PC and sourced into OBS and it's all working fine, but the image quality isn't as good as I'd hoped. Wasn't sure if it is the 1080p vs 2k/4k expectations, my color profile settings on the P3, or my room lighting (which I haven't gotten a chance to set up yet). Would love to see your livestream as an example of the quality I can aspire to. Thanks!

While utilizing my Pocket 3 as a webcam, the video feed unexpectedly ceases, requiring me to restart the device. Despite this, the problem reappears in under five minutes. So the best webcam I have is my laptops one that can hide the lens for privacy, but when I use a program to screen record no matter what best webcam there is NO audio, it all comes down to the Best laptop you have for the product cameras out there
