No, but you can connect the OP3 to a phone or iPad using the Mimo app and use it as an external recorder.

@@gsoul94.channel hooked up for the first time last night, 2 hours later the unit was HOT. I mean...HOT HOT HOT. near painful to the touch. I only noticed it because I turned off my pc to go to bed and noticed a little light and sure enough the usb power was still kickin to the osmo and it would NOT turn off until I physically unplugged the usb cable (which was a pain due to it's install location on my elgato prompter). I'm going to try to figure out how to kill usb power to it when my pc shuts off today hopefully I can find a solution besides physically unplugging. but yeah the absolute HEAT of the unit is also a bit of a concern. I'm talkin it was near uncomfortable to hold it was so hot lol

Where does the mic transmitter plug in? The usb c on the osmo 3 is taken by the cable to the computer. You showed the wirrless dji receiver but I did not see where you plugged in the transmitter. Please help! I do live etreaming from a distance so need to use the wireless mic.

Hello! I use the DJI mic 2 which connects automatically with the receiver built into to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 so you don't have to connect it with a cord. You should look into the creator combo for your needs.

@@Cole-Bielecki Thank you for your quick reply. I have the DJI microphone with two wireless mics and a transmitter. The transmitter has to be plugged in to the USB C port. I had no idea the DJI 2 had the receiver built into the Osmo 3! I guess I will have to order one to make this work, unless you have another idea? I'm using a Mac, I do have a Camlink but it does not seem to work with the Osmo 3 even with a HDMI to USB C cable. My goal is to Livestream from the OSmo 3 using Zoom and with an external wireless mic (I have the DJI two microphones, also have the Rode Wireless Pro). I would really appreciate your assistance if I can do this without having to purchase additional equipment. Normally I have been using my Sony EZ - 10 camera for the zoom Livestream and recording the directly onto the SD card of my Sony EZ-10 camera. My Rode mic transmitter plugs into the Sony. But I moved recently and have much less space to work with so need a wide angle view. Thought I could use the OSmo 3 instead as it does capture the whole room. But I'm stymied with the microphone and recording issue. I would greatly appreciate your help!

I don't do a lot of live streams, but I use it regularly as a web cam and I haven't had any issues. It outputs 1080p at 30fps.

I'm sure you can hook up more than one. OBS should recognize more than one camera. Unfortunately, I only have one to test with. They output 1080p and I believe 30 and 60fps.

That's interesting. I haven't had this issue. You may want to try another USB-C cord. The current cord may be coming loose.

Thanks for this video. I am having a few problems though and was wondering if you could possibly help? I'm trying to use it as a webcam for when I do gaming videos. I was able to get it connected to OBS no problem, but after recording and watching the video back, the quality of the webcam is extremely fuzzy and grainy. I tried adjusting some of the quality settings but no luck. The microphone also doesn't sound good at all. It has static noises and distorts my voice. Do you have any tips? Thanks

Hello! I've been trying to research an answer for you. Unfortunately, I'm not a gamer myself, so I couldn't test my OBS setup with a gaming console directly. However, the issue could be related to your connection, computing capabilities, or internet speeds.

No It does not charge while on webcam mode. The camera does get pretty warm so if you're doing long streams you may run into overheating issues. I've seen workarounds with people using a usb hub but I haven't tried it.

Hello! I used fine for about an hour and it was getting warm. I haven't tested it further than that. If you are going to be streaming for a long time, I would recommend looking into a dedicated streaming camera.

If I do OBS only it seems to maybe timeout or something causing it to revert back to vertical mode. Tested 3 times and seems to be a simple enough solution. Thank a lot though, and dope great vid!!

@@otoide I'm sorry to hear that. I just opened OBS and added a new camera, my OP3. It was black to start. If you switch that camera to you built in webcam and then switch it back to your OP3, it should appear. I hope this helps.

Hello! You do loose a little quality. The osmo pocket 3 pushed 1080p in webcam mode instead of 4K. In my opinion, it still looks good.

Unfortunately, I don't have multiple Osmos to try this. In OBS you can bring in more than one camera, so I don't think you would have issues using more than one of them. Best of luck!
