I also ordered the magnetic mount, really handy. But did you also know you can use the clip to mount it on the front side of your back pack for example? KZbinr Phillip Skraba has a video about it. Also ordered Sunnylife's plastic gymbal protector. Reason for that is that I dont necessarily have to carry the Osmo Pocket 3 in the original bag / cover but can confidently tuck it in to one of my backpack compartments, without worrying the gymbal will twist or anything like that. Last but not least I also added the 1/4 inch thread to GoPro lip adapter, so I can use it with all of my already owned GoPro mounts.

I have one question that is not related, but I don't know how else to reach out to you. I have the Osmo Pocket 3 and I want to use it on my bike. Now I have difficulty in finding the best mount. I want to keep it as low as possible to the steering bar and I want to be able to remove it fast. The Pocket has nothing to attach something to, but I noticed that the extensions have to click on the side of the bottom of the body. Would a quick release plate from the Action 4 camera fit to the bottom of the Pocket 3? I saw a quick release plate from Falcam (F22) but I have no idea how to attach it to my bar nor to my Pocket 3. Could you help me out please. It could be a nice idea for a video 😉

Hi, this may be an irrelevant question to your video, but I have a question. Do you know why, in some cases, log mode has a worse dynamic range than normal mode?

Noticed that too. Contrast is quite high, and lot's of shots seem overexposed. This is what's holding me back from getting it...

I know it won't have the dynamic range of lets say my Blackmagic camera, but I feel my Gopro has more dynamic range. How do you feel about its dynamic range?

The only thing I don't like about my P3 is the tracking as too twitchy. It follows you well but is a bit jerky as you could see at the beginning of your video. They need to make it less reactive and smoother.

The aperture / bokeh seems just about perfect for vlogging, but the highlights look at bit blown out still and the skin looks a bit plasticky while the beard looks a bit hyper sharp. Is this down to the dynamic range of the camera or something else? - are you filming LOG and grading or straight out of camera? I mean for a quarter of the price it looks damn good, the gimbal allows you to follow a 180 degree shutter rule, do interesting motion, walking/running, totally game changing for so many things. However at f/5.4-ish full frame equivalent it's not quite there for a studio camera (which I know it's not really meant to be).

Yeah for studio work it’s not the camera but for outside vlogging it’s great and for B-roll. I prefer it to my phone which is the closest competitor as the tracking is very good.

@@DMProductions Definitely! Plus the phone crops in when you go from photo to video, so the 24mm becomes more like a 27mm where here you get true 20mm. So is this video straight out of camera, or was it LOG + grading?

I love my pocket 3 ! Just wish it wasn't so fragile. With the extended battery and heavy swivel magnetic mount, it doesn't take a fall so well. It broke my gimbal from about a 4 foot drop. I just got my replacement, now im looking at getting the action 4 for more durability. What do you think? I use mine to film my channel and its hard on cameras. Any recommendation? Love your channel great stuff ✌️

I recently used my pocket 3 at a festival with external mike attached and had to guess the gain as I don't think there is a way to monitor with headphones as far as I know it would be handy if they would include connectivity for Bluetooth headphones in future updates for monitoring sound input
