At last with bad weather got to play with the #DJI #Osmo X5 #gimbal adapter.. Is it any good? What's not so good? What do you need to look out for..??

I have it for a few weeks now, knowing about the good and the bad. And I really like it a lot. Gimbal ist working giid, lenses are great and I really like the image quality. I use the setup with a focuswheel, external mike and crystalsky, which I normally use with my mavic pro. It looks very strange, you have to get used to it, but all that counts are the results. And I like them a lot. :)

Hey Geraldo. Normally use two cameras. Main to camera stuff is the Canon 70D with Tokonia 11-16 f2.8 or a 24-105 L series f4. 2nd for cut aways normally use the Canon 5d mark iii, awesome beast for stills & video.

Morning Dylan. Great montage 😂😂😂😂😂. Really enjoyed the review although it’s not something that I would really buy. To me it looks like DJI sell you a basic kit with,maybe, just enough to operate then, effectively, screw you for all the extra bits that may make it a half decent system. On a lighter note, glad to see you recovered from your pre Christmas flu 😷 and the NHS services on your side of the country can come off high alert 🚨. I bought about a year ago, was soo excited.... Come to find out that live feedback to my ipad does not work... Sent the camera back got another unit... same issue... changed the card speed and size no fix... Crap!

I was sold on the X5 and adapter until I saw this review. I think I might just save up for a 5D mkiii and a gimbal for that and just use the 1080P osmo and mic for now for my crappy little adventure vids.

Hey man, loved the video. I bought a Osmo Pro combo a year ago and I've used it for about 10 gigs and I'm currently looking to sell it. I've used it with an Inspire 1 and I'd say if I owned that Inspire or a drone capable with the X5, I'd keep it but I'm looking into replacing it for a Sony A7R or even a Canon 5d, 6d, something worth while. It's been long enough that its collecting dust. Thanks for the video and more incentive to see who wants to buy. Anyone looking for this gear? lol

Hey I really need people’s help, I’ve been asked to film a video for a local wrap shop for Instagram. I have a Nikon D5600 and I also have an Inspire 1. I’ve been wanting to buy the X5 for my Inspire for a long time now, do I get the X5 Osmo Pro and sell my Nikon or do I keep the Nikon and just get the Zhiyun Crane 2, which doesn’t work great with the Nikon??

Do you think the z axis kit is any good? I tried it on original osmo and it was bouncy as hell so completely useless. I just have to ninja walk which kills your knees but removes bounce. I do agree with wifi/setup hassle but dslr gimbals are just too big and heavy imho.

Forgot to say the osmo stick is also a bit bouncy for my taste, much prefer the flexi arm on a monopod which is rigid so much easier and longer too.

Hi, Dylan! Happy '18! Nice review: must be honest. My hat's off to you. I consider the Osmo from time to time, and Osmo mobile. But then common sense kicks in, so I don't have either. Add in that expensive camera and several hundred dollars in attachments... I'll pass, thanks. Looked for a few minutes, didn't find anything cheesier in audioblocks. 😎 I'm not much for brie, but I love a good cheddar! Gotta run; it's past midnight and I have 7:00 start tomorrow. Good job!

Premetto che sono un neofita, sono il titolare di una orchestra e autore di brani e l’ho acquistata per girare videoclip sui miei brani. Ad esempio vorrei girare con degli sfuocati, avrei pensato di acquistare obiettivo Olympus 14-42 Pancake (è necessario anche anello di stabilizzazione?), ma non avendo Handweel, non so se riusciró a far funzionare lo zoom. Non riesco a trovare sull’app dji go il comando per lo zoom. Se hai un contatto messanger potrei contattarti li sarebbe più agevole per porti alcuni quesiti. Grazie intanto per il tuo tempo
