DJI Phantom 2 long range modificaton Part 2: Wifi Repeater

In this video, I take apart the wifi repeater I got from the guy I bought my vision plus from that he already attempted to modify. Doing this modification will GREATLY increase your fpv range, and will allow you to use your own antennas. Ignore the beeping horns in the background lol....It is what it is!

i removed the old antenna and ran the new cables under the copper shielding, but signal is lost around 300-400 feet! any ideas?
