Does this need to be updated? I can't connect my Phantom to the DJI Go or DJI GO 4 app. I'm a new user. Pretty close to just buying a new drone model.

So do you have to get them registered with aviation flight to fly them.

Don't get that option to name the aircraft, goes to screen "How to connect" 1) Turn on remote controller 2) Turn on aircraft battery 3) Connect your mobile device 4) Enter Camera View (Go back to the equipment page. You should now be able to enter camera view) No option/Don't see it .... Any ideas?

The controller is made for something up to a full size ipad, not sure on Samsung's sizes but it should fit.

Before you hype out the DJI misinformation, read all about the P4 performance and stability. There are a LOT of P4 owners that hate the new drone, less battery life and shorter distance compared with P3P. This drone is so bad that DJI decided to pull out P3P off the shelves to force people to buy the new model. If you want to get a drone, look for (if you can find it) P3P model, much better than P4.

I have the P4 as well as the P3P and the P4 is more stable and responsive but both fly great.
