At 2:42 you mention removing the cable from the back of the iPad. I'm confused. Do you mean, "The USB plug should remain in the iPad and connect it to the Drone"? Or do you plug the Quad into the controller to update the drone. I just purchased the P4 so I'm new to updates. Thanks.

Yes leave the plug in the IPad. Unplug from transmitter and plug into the drone.

Thanks for this. I have a Phantom 3 pro that shows "no signal" or "signal lost" when it is turned on. I have tried to reset it using the "linking RC" technique but it still doesn't connect. Please, what could be the problem? Thank you.

So what is the benefit of updating the P4 when I hear a lot of people having issues lately after updating ? Mine flies just fine and havent updated for over 5 months.

Issues don't just happen with a firmware update. There is a maze of issues that can creep up on a P4 or previous model. Just depends on the model. Sometimes physical and sometimes software related. Just depends. Not everyone has had issues with the new updates. - JD
