Another cool video Ken. I'm learning all I can online. My Phantom 4 arrives by 10:30am this Friday! I love the suggestion of going down the side of a structure to gauge clearance, then you can ascend upwards without the fear of running into the structure. In this case, it helped that the tower gets smaller the higher you go so it gets even further from the Phantom. Be careful catching the Phantom. Just a suggestion, lower it to above your head, stop the descent, then grab it. One small slip and your drone slice and dice your fingers and plummets to the ground.

Get a cup and fit it with a small short selfie stick or something. Stick it into the cup holder and fit the OSMO to the top of your little mini tower. Put a little "T" of the side to turn it and you have a great little camera rig for the car.

Great smooth flying there. You make it look easy. Soon, I'm going to purchase an MJX Bugs 3 Pro which features circling as an intelligent flight mode. Though what I am not happy about is that in order to access this feature, I have to spend extra money on a phone with G5 in conjunction with the special app and also go out and buy an MJX camera (sold separately) to connect to the quad, and which has a fisheye lens (which I don't want.) Too many $$ and hoops to jump through just to do circles. So instead, I'm going to use my own camera (with non-fisheye lens) and learn to fly in circles manually. I know it's going to take lots of practise but I'm determined to get there. Ive actually been flying fully manual quadcopters (with no gps) for the last few years but I haven't done circles before. I'm looking forward to giving them a try.

+Ken Heron Thanks! I've flown a lot of drones, but the Phantom will be my first camera drone. So I feel pretty confident with the flying part (although I'll make sure to get the feel for the phantom) what I'm unsure about is the filming part. As I have no previous filming/ photography experience. And I've also flown away my fair share of drones.. It hurts every time, thankfully, I've recovered some of them.
