DJI Pocket 3: Quest for a Variable ND filter/K&F VND is not it!

I went down the rabbit hole too. First bought the K&F ND set with CP. Then I bought the K&F var ND set. Problem with both sets is I can’t see the damn tick mark to set the filters and they are so small and hard to turn. I just got the DJI ND set to test out. I did just get back from a week long road trip and I didn’t use any filters. Auto exposure, normal color and that’s it. I brought several accessories, but the only one I used consistently was the sunny light cover. I have a Sony a7iv and the a7 cii, which I love, but hate carrying it around. The Pocket 3 is just so easy to carry and use. I’ll probably buy a second one as a backup. I went with the creator kit, but can just buy the Pocket 3 only.

@miguelcruzonline yep that was a big issue for me also. On the k&f VND's, the mark and numbers were so small that it was really impossible for me to use. The freewell have hard stops, which makes it much easier. The neewer nd/pl the marks are much better and you can stack them with the A black mist. I want to do a test of compari g the freewell VND's and neewer nd/pl's

You're right, I do see the orange rings. Is that with the DJI black mist or the K&F black diffusion?

Just ordered the K&F VND 3-32 with 1/4 black mist all-in-one. Will see how that goes.

I mainly use a black mist and really that is about it. I do want a good VND for certain occasions so just on the quest to test them out. I have the freewell in my possession but have been super busy at work and have not had a chance to get out to test them.

I don't really know, ND looks ok. Not sure if I'll ever use it. Possibly if you want a more cinematic video. For vlogging NO

ND filters have their place but as far as I see it for vlogging not necessary. When using ND filters you need to limit your ISO and manually set up every shot to get the right look. Taking the simplicity away. Just my thought lol

@@RokasSarauskas nope it does not work with the k&f VND's and black mist. It leave a weird vignette from which i believe is the ring on the VND. I purchased the freewell VND's with the glow mist and definitely like those. Check out my latest video and I show how that looks.

@@TSGAdventuresthanks, after commenting I've watched your latest video, thank you for that one also, my concern is that I need ND and black mist but also CPL, for car videos, c-pl to remove reflections, and I can't find any answers would they stack or no, freewell vndmist with any cpl filter. You have any clue, please let me know. Cheers.
