Such great timing on your videos. I've been on the same journey. I already realized I'd need to carry a case with me for filters, and your videos confirmed that VND was going to cause too many image issues. Curious, did you try the K&F filters as well, or did Neewer just have what you needed regardless? Either way, thank you so much for these videos!
@mrheng5628 ай бұрын
I stuck with Neewer. Others have confirmed that K&F also have color shift.

Those Neewer filters look good to me. This color casting you mention is not really visible to me, at least not as it was visible on variable NDs you have tested earlier.

Thanks for this awesome simple comparison MrHeng! I have a weird question 😅 Could you please tell me the exact size (length, width and height) of the neewer filter case? I wanna know if it fits into my current regular filter pouch. Thanks! Oh and also wondering if the neewer nd filters are stackable with the cpl?
@mrheng5624 ай бұрын
This is all in inches estimations. It's 3.2 x 3.75 x .75 inches. And, there's already a CPL and ND combo with having to stack.

Thanks! And yea, but if for example I would buy the 6 pack with 16, 32, 64, 256, cpl, and UV, I wonder if they are stackable.

Which one you recommend ?
@mrheng5623 ай бұрын
@@aalza3abi for normal day light nd32 or nd64. Depends on how dark you like your footage. I like the nd32 because I like my footage slightly brighter than normal. I like the solid ND because of no color cast.

Hi! i really apreciate your comparison video about OP3 filters. Couple of weeks ago K&F Concept, released a VND + 1/4 Mist filter. I would like to know you opinion about it. You can check how it works in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qInJZXuNopuWrqM Regards from Canary Islands!

I don’t have experience with this filter, but I read the comments and saw that they were not that good. However, from seeing the footage from the video you linked, it doesn’t look bad.
@Iv4nix10 ай бұрын
@@mrheng562 Yeah, i think the same, the footage looks great but It would be interesting to do more tests in different conditions to see if it's really good or not.

@@Iv4nix , I prefer to cut 6 stops compared to 5 stops to protect my highlights. I use a solid Neewer ND64, which is 6 stops in full sunlight. So far, pretty good for me. I rarely use anything else in my pack, but I do use the ND1000 when doing Timelapse in full sun. My shutter is set to about 1/4 to blue motion to be slightly ghosting. It’s my personal tastes for Timelapse looks. 😅

@@mrheng562 Thank you for your advise! I will receive the camera shortly and I will consider the option of having a ND-64 as the main filter because video quality increases incredibly.
