Freewell VND mist edition are keepers for the DJI Pocket 3

I have the K&F filters but have yet to use them.

Yeah I had those but the mark and numbers are way to small for me. Plus no hard stops so that was a deal breaker for me. Definitely like their black mist though.

these freewells don't allow the gimbal to close in the safe locked mode which keep the lens safe

@djrightonbeat not a big deal really it just flips to one side. I tested it and it still fits in the original case that way just put the lens facing down. I use the sunny life case and cut a hole out. The lens is exposed but so far no issues with that. I think the look of the freewells is better than the k&f and you can have a mist included. The problems I had with the k&f was the marking on front which are impossible to read for me. Over all I use k&f filters for a lot of things but just not for a vnd.

Have you tried the NEEWER vnd filter or vnd+mist filter?

@OranJuno no I have not. I have the freewell+glow mist and I may buy the plain freewell VND's.

@TSGAdventures what situations would you use the regular vnd over the vnd+mist?

@@OranJuno I would probably use the mist if I am wanting a softer look. That is really a personal preference though. I like the mist because it helps with the digital look all these small cameras have even though the P3 is really not to bad. I also have a snow mist from freewell and a black mist from k&f which the freewell VND's+mist actually stack on. I am hoping that the regular VND's do the same. As far as the Neewer VND's+black mist, they are a 1/4 strength which I feel is a bit to strong. Once again that is a personal preference thing. I would probably get the regular VND's and stack them on a 1/8 black mist. I may buy the neewer VND's for that just because they are cheaper than the freewell's but we shall see. On my videos I did at night of the christmas lights I just used the k&f 1/8 black mist to give the lights a bit of diffusion and a softer look. I really like that look in those situations.
