I almost gave up trying to balance it, I felt it was too heavy for the infinite roll.. The motors were struggling to carry it.. I was literally a night sleep away from returning it.. Then I found this video!!! Thank you so much.

I've seen a lot of balancing videos. This is by far the best.

great videos, I am trying to find out if my Panasonic DC-FZ82 LUMIX camera will work with the Ronin s gimble, as long as the gimble and the gimble buttons work I can put the camera on auto

It will balance but I don't know about control, as it stands today there is very little info on that model.

What is your reference point for dovetail plate? Do you use lens support? I noticed these impact all the settings. Thanks Mad!
@MadRC6 жыл бұрын
Waa Productions yes this is something I glossed over sorry, I have the 12-60mm Pan F2.8, I have the lens support fitted basically one the focus ring so that is setting my balance point for the dovetail, I’m going to add a QR as I don’t want the long plate fitted all the time and I’ll do a video on that next week. So yea lens support on the focus ring as I have the hood so that’s the ref.

Have you had any luck using the connection cable ? My gh5 keeps telling me to select a USB mode . Either PC mode or Pictbridge mode . And neither seem to work .

Would have been better if you showed how to balance with the camera as opposed to already having it done and then explaining it. Good video still.

Thanks for the feedback, there are several videos that are very goon on this already I simply wanted to cover the basics, DJI do have their own too here kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaatoaKnnrhgq6c but perhaps I will :)

When I balanced the Ronin S, it scratched... not easy to push the pieces...
@MadRC6 жыл бұрын
No you need to take the weight of as you move them especially for the pan and roll arms. You can lift them from below and just wiggle but I have seen reports of scratching too.

@@MadRC yeah, I change my Ronin and there were out of stock, so I'll rebuy it and be carreful to not scratch it!
