But I say fuck it, these guys keep on innovating to help both with utility and content creation. Until they initiate an override killbot function, I'm gonna continue using DJI as long as they keep innovating.

The way they innovate is by ripping off brilliant young students. They hold drone technology competitions in China and offer industry job placement to the students that submit the most cutting edge technology advancements in their respective drone discipline. It's kind of like sharktank in that they offer a small reward for a technology that DJI will benefit 100-fold from.

I think it would be a great feature for the RC Pro and other “Smart” remotes to have a low power “Data” mode that would allow the user to save more battery life to perform tasks such as editing images or checking social networks, tasks that don’t need the high powered antennas and other battery draining parts of the device typically needed during flight. At the same time a similar low power “Data” mode for drones could be very useful. If the antennas, flight lights, GPS and other parts used only for flight could be turned of while transferring video and photos, updating firmware or doing other things while not in flight this would save battery and give the pilot more time to get things done. Who else thinks that a new low power “Data” mode would be useful? 🤷‍♂️

I think it's highway robbery that they haven't. Of course we know why they delayed the M3 SDK release. It would compete with the M3E. Now where does that leave the M3? They released the SDK for the Air2. I'm still reeling over that. I'll never buy a new drone from them again unless the SDK is delivered the same day.

couldnt agree more! i feel like the SDK is ready however its been held back with managment and marketing wanting enterprise customers to buy the enterprise model whom dont require thermal imagingm the regular mavic 3 with the sdk would likely do fine, however dji is a corporation.. and they need to make money, simple. Thinking about it indepth, if they have the SDK for a more advanced mavic 3 ready, how have they not got the SDK for the more basic version ready?

@@M4PAT regular magic 3 will only have the standard lens which the magic 3 pro has. No telephoto lens

@@M4PAT It has got an infrared sensor instead of the telephoto lens. Furthermore you can attach things to the drone: speaker, lights etc. Ah, and yes, it will cost double of the Mavic 3. Small difference 😂😂

I keep crossing my fingers for a DJI 360 camera... with every new announcement they schedule, my fingers twitch and curl... but now, my fingers have kinda deformed into a crossed pattern. I've given up... and just now ordered the Insta360 version. Now that it's done, of course - the next announcement might indeed be for a DJI 360 cam. I'll bang my keyboard so hard... Maybe I should just buy a backup keyboard already to be prepared.
