One of the key takeaways for me is that not all reviewers will be experts in the proposed science, but all reviewers will be experts in statistical analysis and experimental design. As a 3rd year PhD candidate, I think perhaps it's time for me to reinforce some foundational knowledge through a statistics course...

Glad you found the video helpful! I never had a statistics course, but when animals and humans are needed, having someone with biostatistics on your team or at least as a consultant/reviewer is very helpful.
