I'm the developer of DJCU. Thank you for creating this tutorial. You missed one very important thing. With DJCU comes an app named XML to Rekordbox 6 (Xto6) which takes care of the XML to Rekordbox 6 import automatically. Once you've set up Xto6, the whole conversion to Rekordbox 6 becomes a lot faster and a much smoother process. And you get rid of that annoying reminder about the XML import bug. Another one: If you want to keep your cues under the exact same performance pad in RB as they are in Serato you also need to select the option to put cues in the hotbank and loops in the memory bank (from the pull down menu) in addition to switching smart placement off . feel free to reach out if you got any questions.

@@DJPao86 One of the most frequently asked questions is: when will there be a Windows version of any of my tools? My honest answer is: never. Not because I'm an OS snob, the reason is much simpler than that. The cause for most support questions I receive is not app, but operating system related. I simply lack the knowledge about Windows to support it as well as I can support macOS. I understand that having my tools on Windows would help many other artists and even multiply the revenue stream. With my resources being limited I've chosen to protect my good name when it comes to going the extra mile to support the users of my tools. I can't do that on Windows.

So I have been using serato pro DJs for years now. All my music is on iTunes, and usually when I open up serato all my iTunes music comes to serato as I have set up in folders . Is this video will also apply to me as well or I need to take different steps to transfer my iTunes to a flash drive to use for rekordbox thank you .

Question, I just got the XDJ RX3 so i am moving from SERATO to REKORDBOX, but my question is, what type of REKORDBOX do I need to use (because have a lot of option of subscripton) Also I coverted my flashdrive into FAT32 already, so basically i just need to transfer all my music into the REKORDBOX or do I need to something else?

Thanks for the video. You mentioned loading a USB, how do you do that? Also, when I transfer my crates, and it is a fairly large library (50K) songs via the DJCU, they don't all make it! I highlight all my crates but when it starts the transfer 13K shows! Your thoughts? Thanks

I really wish this comes to Windows , I am using record buddy now but it is not as easy as dj conversion. Also , i have windows Laptop no no heat issues with me.

If you update your Serato crate, when you want to update this Serato crate already in rekordbox, does the conversion app analyses again the old musics also ?

It is worth switching too, if you want to play often at clubs etc, cause they "all" use pioneer with rekordbox.

Great Tool the only thing i dont like is the right Date when you using the tool,is only the same date for all your files,sometimes i serch for new songs and i forget the name of it but i know the date of it.I cant do it with the Utility thats my point.

I think you refer to date added. It depends on the DJ software if the date added can be modified at all. For instance iTunes (and its successor Music) don't allow me to change the date added, they will always use the date the audio file was introduced, which might be the date that you run DJCU. It is not as much a problem with the conversion as that the target software doesn't allow change of date added field, because I love to sort on date added myself I took extra care of it.

@@MixMasterG hmmm i dont know i use the serato crates.And when i open rekordbox the folder then i conversion it all the songs are the same date when i use the tool.
