Great Vid.....A few tips.... Mounting neutrik connectors from behind the patch panels gives a much much cleaner look. It also puts less stress on the mounting screws as you connect/disconnect your cables. Running xlrs right next to PowerCon will likely induce a noticeable hum/buzz. I always leave a minimum 2 hole gap. Pioneer controllers/mixers have always had inferior mic inputs. It is their greatest Achilles heel. Even a cheapie Behringer/Alto/Pyle mixer will yield much greater sonic results....
@tjark67592 жыл бұрын
Xlr isn't really the problem because it's symmetric and any unwanted noises should just cancel out. RCA is more concerning because its not symmetrical.
@pstentertnmt2 жыл бұрын
Shouldn't be an issue with XLR since it's balanced. It's one of the reasons why XLR cables can be ran for long runs. RCA cables are a different story.

This whole video is nice but somewhat dated the case build was more relevant 2 or 3 years ago it’s nice to have but IMO it HONESTLY has come too totally hybrid style setup ups controllers are bigger and heavier than ever, most mobile DJ hates heavy wood style sliding cases to much weight to be lugging around ur lugging around a case weighs 3x the controller weighs the built in laptop holder is nice but still more weight that will eventually were out the case or constantly keeps getting loose, a nice laptop stand more convenient trust me.alternatives has come to facades or scrims much better looking and lighter a heavy case is not needed necessary cause ur covered by facade, just a alternative to the big case build I’ve done many case builds starting to realize there’s lighter options for mobility.
