Hello Steve, how to find this rod comparing it with the zz full tournament? excuse my English

+jor8501 As usual with zziplex rods very sweet casting action. This one is a bit longer and a bit more powerful tho.

So a Zziplex might be on the horizon, but being in the States, good luck finding any to try out. If you're familiar enough with the line to make a recommendation, which of their rods would you suggest for someone 5'10" weighing 170 lbs. and able to bench press the same; does mostly ground casting but would like to occasionally switch to the pendulum; casts mostly in the field to impress himself but might want to fish once in a while on clean ground for species weighing 2-15 lbs.; casts anywhere from 4 to 8 oz.; has a style that is pretty fast (though I'm trying to slow down my initial swing)? Something not overpowered, but would be taken seriously in a tournament. Probably 13'.

Theres a guy deals Zziplexs in the USA will find out his name for ya. Maybe something like an m4 evo gt. Nice slim rod glass tip for bite detection and can blast a rod a long way. Id say 5 or 6 oz perfect for it. Prob take 8oz ok. If I can get the guys name have a chat with him. Great fishing rod but will take field casting now and then.

Just to say the zziplex m47 su tip and the bullet tip fits the butt on you're txl gives a few more options.

Do you think that the crack offs were to do with you being more used to the Century? We met a mate up the field yesterday and he was getting snap offs using his zziplex but when he borrowed my sons Kompressor ss and reel he didn't crack off and got better distance. Once back on his own rod and reel he's tarted cracking off again.
@djrmonix6 жыл бұрын
No dont think so. I only had one crackoff today (last cast in vid) and the weight was well away long after any influence from the rod. Must have had at least 20 casts today and 19 of them got away fine. It was caused by not enough reel braking on a 2nd hand reel I recently bought. The mag holder is sitting at a bit of an angle and stopping it being closer the spool than should be. Not sure about your mate, it could be just not used to different feel of the rod and timing needs adjusted. Century and zziplexs feel totally different when casting, I think I could do a blind test! Hey theres an idea for a video!!

Stiffer than the t1000?
@djrmonix6 жыл бұрын
Tip a bit softer but middle and butt fairly stiff. Compare to t1000, not sure. Will do the hand test on butts later.
@wgblues98876 жыл бұрын
@@djrmonix the butt section on the txl is a lot stiffer.

E' solo un settaggio diverso del mag. Nulla di eclatante!!!
