Hey Bro I'm new to this DJ thing and I would like to know how do mix your music like that? I have just purchased an Apple Mac Book Pro and I'm using a Numark NS6 that I just took out of the box after two years. I also purchased some 800 watt Truesonic Alto professional speakers. I'm thinking of just playing straight music but after watching your videos I'm really fascinated with learning to the stuff you do. @sfodallday Dude i don't know if you've used serato before. It's no different than using real vinyls. The difference is that you use the computer to select the tracks and mark your cue points, as opposed to stacking your vinyls for your set and using stickers to cue it. You still need to manually beatmatch it, cue it properly, etc.... It takes a lot of practice to get the set dialed, just the same amount of practice you need to do for dj battles using vinyl to get it right.

a few weeks ago i was asking the same question, after interrigating a few guitar center salesmen i was told that i needed to buy a box for serato in order to connect all my shit to be able to use the free serato that you see online, (you need software with time coded vinyl to use turntables with the music on your computer eg. traktor scratch, serato or virtual dj pro plus many other random companies but these are the top)
