In my mind, I picture Olivia Newton John and I as friends. I fell in love with her singing back in High school, and I picture her and I doing things together like, going out to eat, singing songs together as I play the keyboard, and I can imagine her as a video game expert, and see her making that joystick go nuts as she beats every villain and knocks 'em dead! I imagine coming home from high school seeing her beating every evil boss in a video game and winning, and she and I would have a snack in the afternoon, and she would help me with my homework. She'd be a whiz at all the tough stuff I had problems with! Love you Olivia!

Thank you! I love her voice very much. Since high school, maybe around 17 years old or somewhere like that, when one of my friends brought a greace CD to the band room and we listened to it at lunch time, I heard Hopelessly Devoted and I loved it. You see, I heard it as a kid, but never really asked who the singer was untill that time in high school. One teen told me it was Marylin Manson, but back then, I didn't even know who the heck Marylin Manson was until somebody told me. I thought Marylin Manson was a female singer. I asked someone in the quire room who sang Hopelessly devoted, because somewhere in my heart, I knew this kid who said it was Marylin Manson was lying to me, so I asked one of the quire girls who sang it, and she said it was Olivia Newton John. Then some time later, a cassette tape of them singing Summer lovin was played just as I was walking towards the music wing of the high school, and I walked over to the quire room. Because I had fallen in love with Olivia's singing so much, I asked if this was an Olivia Newton John concert tape, and the girl to my left said, "aha!" but I don't think she quite heard me. I then knew it was the quire singing. I asked this young girl in the band room who brought in the Greace CD if she would make me a cassette tape of it, and she said she would. She was quite busy, but in a matter of days, she did. As I listened to it, I would let Olivia's voice massage my ears and vibrate itself through my mind.

The notes Olivia hits, awesome. Her voice is just scintillating here. Harmonies are amazing. She was the complete package. I was only 7 when this came out but it got heavy radio play on BBC Radio2 with Terry Wogan. Great to hear an extended remix too. Cheers

It is a ridiculously good song. On the video, she has never looked better. She is the only famous woman who I felt I was completely in love with- besotted ! I had never seen anyone as good as her. It was Hopelessly Devoted and her look that first grabbed me. By the way, do you ever put these on vinyl ? Would love to buy one if you did. Thanks anyway 👋👋

@@numerikproductions , I guess we must be around the same age or decade of birth :-) I always was a huge fan of those maxi-singles, extended playings or 12'' version vynils. As I couldn't ever be able to find what I imagined it could have been released, thanks to computer programs I could finally create my own versions. They may not be perfect, but I believe they have made lots of people happy and got them with their feet dancing again!
