i've used other names...but studies have shown bronze/silver/gold sells the best. Just like 3 works better than 4, 5, etc packages.

Killer video man! Could you make a video if possible on how to make a website ?
@5thElementDFW5 жыл бұрын
I use wix. It's pretty simple and they got templates and stuff if you aren't sure how you want to set it up initially. And I pay under 7 bucks a month

I highly reccomend looking at Wordpress with the siteorigin site builder plugin installed, I've built many websites on that and its been great.

Wow, your market sound really different from the wedding business down here in Perú. My average wedding is 200 people on outdoor venues. Speakers flown, subs, led lights, wash and beam moving heads with the avolites controller and a full time operator. Usually around 8 hours. And... charging a little less that the numbers mention on your classic package. This beeing the mid to upper tier wedding market.

Thank you for everything you're doing. Nobody likes to talk about the business side. I'm a musician and I'm looking into getting an intermediate EV set with 2 of each 12"s, 15"s and 18" subs and watching your content has helpedme understand my role and how i can be more efficient and better prepared for the audio engineer. You have inspired to me the fullest.

Really loving this channel. Just starting to branch into mobile Dj'ing and these videos have helped a lot! Is there any way you can cover the boring end of the business - how you tax, what can be considered a write-off, and how important a good CPA is, along with riders/contracts and maybe how your insurance works. It's a tough topic to cover, but you've got a lively channel and I think you'd cover it in an easy to grasp manor and not make it so damn boring!

Do you have packages for your live sound rig?
@freddyleftyou4865 жыл бұрын
Excellent upload. How do you feel about a DJ only offering DJ services and not getting involved in uplighting or photo booths? Is that a bad idea to not offer other ala carte options? Because quite honestly I just want to DJ. Uplighting and photo booths are cool but I just don't have time for those extras. I just want to throw them a party. Thank you

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that! You got into the industry to dj so DJ!

jay left i used to only offer music for my gigs and it went well. I started adding lighting slowly as it was asked for by clients. I never wanted to deal with lights but unfortunately it’s what my clientes wanted. If you eventually decide to add some lights. I highly recommend some battery powered par lights. You can set them up just about anywhere. I started off with 4 chauvet EZ Par 56 lights just to hit the dance floor on sound active mode.

Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I have been trying to get a idea on packages for my DJ business. I have been taking everything to all my gigs and its been taking longer and longer to set up and tear down. A few questions if you have some time. Is it worth it to get a photo booth? Do you include your set up and tear down in your price or is that something you charge extra for each gig? I have seen dj's do both where its included in the final price or they add it to the price. Thanks again for all the great videos and information!!

What do you charge per package? Exactly! Everyone has different prices. And everyone is worth something different!
