Sup DK, not questioning Muth's character or anything but he did just get PAID! So he's not worried about his stats going into free agency next year because he's locked up, he can literally AFFORD to wait for his targets. Man you're on a roll with your choice of topics my man! 😎

I think opponents have keyed on 'Muth bc they didn't believe JF could push it down the field to his WR's. Like DK said, focus may shift to Pickens and now 'Muth may free up and is due for a big game

@jerryyeager1307 I drafted Muth heavy in fantasy because I thought he'd have a massive season. Fingers crossed Tomlin gets over his fear of touchdowns and puts his foot on the gas pedal. Turnovers aren't good, but never scoring touchdowns is worse

Sometime you just have to blame these players for their poor play. You can only coach them up so much, but the player have to do the work particularly in the offseason to get better. Broderick looks like he didn’t do anything to get better and that’s why he’s struggling. Can’t think you’ve arrived because you got a starting position. You have to keep that position.

J1Q: most teams that made the playoffs have been heavy offense. The refs put their whistles away for a lot of holding calls (unless you're Jones). Was this team designed backwards? What's the point of paying these guys huge money when the league has told refs to give oline a clear advantage. Not saying you need to do what everyone else is doing for success, but this formula hasn't exactly been successful the past couple years. Love the Show! Feel free to grill me for the opinion lol

In my opinion, the greatest teams move the ball around to multiple players, and I believe the Steelers is one of those teams. So the Chargers doubling Pickens is a non-issue.

Did anybody watch these first 2 games? Or are y'all just looking at the box score and jumping to conclusions? I get the frustration of not scoring a touchdown, or throwing it in the middle of the field against the Falcons. But, that was by design. Jessie Bates is really good, and Arthur Smith obviously knows this, so he devised a game plan to avoid them, and it worked. Obviously it would have been nice to get a touchdown, but the offense was otherwise moving the ball well, and the important thing is that we won. I'm sure all of you that are whining about it, would've been crying a river if Fields had indeed threw down the middle and have been picked off. And in the Broncos game, the offense was also moving the ball well, and the scoreboard likely would have shown it more, if it weren't for Broderick Jones' penalties. If it's silly to crown the Steelers as contenders after going 2-0, then it's equally silly to suggest that they're pretenders, just because they don't look like the 2nd coming of 'the greatest show on turf'. Maybe y'all should start enjoying the games and look at the positive strides we've taken on offense, and stop being so damn pessimistic and negative. We're 2-0, and right now that's the ONLY thing that matters.

DK you always say “Mike Tomlin’s fingerprints are all over the defense “ or something like that. Well if the last 5 years is any indication …Tomlin’s fingerprints appear to be all over the offense as well. 3 coordinators and the offense still looks the same.

DK. They're purposely not targeting pat. They're putting stuff on tape to set up stuff later. The td to Mt Washington was a prime example. If those 3 passes last week weren't killed by penalties, they'd have scored at least 23 pts. They have a lot to work out and are lucky their d was able to hold for the win. They're going to have a good o.

Agree to disagree: the current rookies at C and RT owe most of their success to their collegiate development. Dotson’s country strength benefited from his adjacency to Pouncey as a rookie. There remain valid concerns about the lack of development in future years post-Munchak.

Any offense attempting to feature Najee Harris and PF is an offense destined for failure. PF is an average NFL TE, by all metrics is used to evaluate TE's. There is nothing dynamic about PF's game but Yinzers love saying "Muuuuthhh!" after every 6 yard reception.

The J1Q was reference to kdot being a left guard as his best position. We played him as a right guard. Same thing with Broderick a natural left playing right. Frazier and Troy both playing their natural positions are flourishing like kdot with the rams. He’s suggesting are we doing a disservice to Broderick by not trying him at left compared to dan. I do agree dan has been better but we don’t know for Broderick because we haven’t seen it. Thanks just wanted to clarify that it wasn’t that he thought we can’t develop talent.
