Me and my Brother were talking about Fields deep ball just yesterday. He makes it look so effortless, while going back and watching KP8, it was like he was putting everything he had into a 30 yard pas.

Hi DK, warm regards and so excited for football coming ! I want to say that I'm all in with Fields as a QB. He has everything and trust me that for him it will be a different game when he deals with his weapons and his young and tough OL. Wilson can be a stud, no doubt, but Fields brings so many weapons that make me excited. This year seems to be promising. All the best Lazaro

Fields really is a freak athlete! The question is can he complete 5 of 5 for 78 yards in a minute and 50 seconds with no timeouts to win a game and carry a football team when necessary? I don't know..

Some may call the offensive skill players "role players with unique talents", but in the WR room more specifically, I see a #1 WR, 5 fringe roster guys, & an injured rookie who needed a major breakout to make that room even remotely respectable - which I never expected from him immediatly. Their current #2 WR has less career TD catches in 4 years than Chase Claypool had through his first 15 games. Chase Claypool. That borders into being negligent.

Justin is a LAID BACK QUIET SORT OF A GUY. Always has been. That's a big part of his personality. Every Athlete who has ever played a Sport or plays any Sport works to IMPROVE his Game and Mechanics throughout his or her Sports-Career. Just look at what SIMONE BILES just did at the Olympics. It has taken her YEARS OF PRACTICE to accomplish what she just did to become the most DECORATED-GYMNAST in OLYMPICS HISTORY. I can say the same for LEBRO JAMES. It has taken LeBron YEARS OF PRACTICE to NOW being able to make a 3-POINT-JUMP SHOT. I watched him the other day make that SHOT against Team-Serbia. Justin just needs to keep doing the same: keep training, keep learning, keep growing and stay-focused. time is on his side and there is no telling where Justin's SKILL-LEVEL will be in the next two or three years.

If he does a better job of taking care of the ball in game he can absolutely be the future of the team. I've watching him closely since his first year at OSU, he's incredibly gifted, but so are a lot of the players in the league, he's gotta find the balance between taking what the defense gives him and making the plays he's capable of making.

There are conflicting reports about fields. I’ve heard from reporters close to the team like Gerry Dulac that outside of the occasional exceptional deep pass on a roll out or a good run off a qb scramble he’s looked pretty average at best. The decision making, ball placement and inability to read diagnose coverages issues that he had in Chicago has shown up too. So much athleticism great arm, lacks nothing physically, it sucks because many qbs with potential have come and gone.

“You are not keeping him on the sidelines for 17 games, when he’s capable of more athletic things…” For whatever reason, Tomlin did the same thing to Mason Rudolph last year for darn near 17 games. Until he was FORCED to sniff the crap up close, that he saw with his own eyes playing out last year. Even when Mason showed everyone in camp that he was the best QB of last year’s 3. Tomlin found and will continue will find a way to continue being stubborn to his own detriment 🙄 But hey, let’s hope not. 🤷🏾‍♂️

DK hear me out…. Everyone wants to make slash comparisons. And I get it. What if we use fields like Andy Reid used Vick that first year when McNabb was still the starter? I vaguely remember that while McNabb did start. Vick got a lot of decent plays, rpos, options, and a few passing plays sprinkled in. I feel like that’s a better balance than the slash role.

I have no doubt that Russ gives a a better shot a winning more games this year but he is 35 years old and is a shorter guy who when he was at his best relied on getting out of the pocket and improvising. Fields is such a talented athlete and while I know he has a lot to work on I just feel like you gotta do everything you can to get the most out of his potential. This team should be very good at running the football this year and if you have a QB like fields who is an elite runner this offense could be very dynamic.

Well, for now, regarding the two QB's, we have a goos problem to have. If we do utilize both QB's throughout the season with Russ as the initial starter and they both (he and Fields) plays very well, amd let's just say Russ is the better passer and Fields passes pretry good, but his legs are better. Then I would say we have a BAD PROBLEM to have at the end of the season bc you find them both an asset and can't decide who to keep. I guess it will come down to the younger guy? Find a way to keep both? Dount we can. Other teams would be fighting for Fields.

Kenny could have been really good in this offense. But the Steelers didn't want to develop a QB. Justin Fields right now.is looking like the better QB between him and Russ which Fields is also young, super mobile, and well had a serious advantage of height. He has been very good this training camp I'd like to see him in at least the preseason games to get a better feel for how good he is in this Offensive scheme

It's hard to develop someone with an incredibly limited arm, low football IQ, is injury prone, but was somehow billed as "pro ready" just bc he was old. Like the other commenter said, with that combo, you can't also think you're way better than you are & that the job is owed to you. I'm betting he falls to philly's #3 by camps end & washes out of the nfl at the end of his rookie deal.
