The design of this course is really clever. The course is completely entirely downhill, with a cannon acting like a ski lift. One of my favorite parts of looking back on great games is realizing the genius in their designs.

Honestly this is underrated. I love the swing with the melody and the layed out notes after so. It feels satisfying and catchy and makes you almost bounce like the notes do. Love the sound of it, sounds nostalgic too.

I don't know why, but it's this particular song that holds all the nostalgia for Mario Kart Wii for me. I hadn't played it in years, but was recently able to get one of the Wiimm track packs up and running on my laptop through Dolphin. The very first track I picked had this as its BGM, and sitting there, GameCube controller in hand, I damn near wept of happiness.

While this isn't my favorite mario kart game, my favorite will always be mario kart double dash. So many ideas in that game that should be incorporated into a new mario kart game. It would also be cool to see them re release mario kart double dash with all these new courses and stuff to. That is one thing that stands out about mario kart double dash to me now other than just the gameplay in general. I dunno, did not hate mario kart wii, but it felt like there wasn't enough characters and bikes/karts to choose from. I remember in mario kart ds, you could choose so many karts per toon. Also, good lord was the moc bike op in mario kart wii as well, and i mean, i could not steer to save my life in mario kart wii either. Still an awesome edition though. Played mario kart wii recently. But i honestly play as the karts. Guess i am just a rebel lol. No bikes for me. Also, it did feel like blue shells and other junkmail came at you way to often in mario kart wii. Always getting hit by bullcorn. And it doesnt help that with 4 extra racers, i mean, if i get hit once. I usually end up losing. Either way, awesome theme. Awesome course. Awesome game overall. I love all the mario karts.
