Caitlin Clark Did This To Angel Reese In The WNBA

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese just played their first game in the WNBA, the Indiana Fever hosted the Chicago Sky and the game was very controversial. Several hard fouls from Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso and Chennedy Carter were the big talking points but thanks to huge performances from Nalyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitcehll the Indiana Fever were able to win the first game. Caitlin Clark got her revenge vs Kamilla Cardoso and has taken a 1-0 lead against Angel Reese in the WNBA.

You're following the WNBA based on you saying you didn't know Angel Reese's team. You apparently hate Angel Reese a lot though cause you're attributing a foul off the ball against Caitlin to her when the world saw that it was Chennedy Carter who flagrantly fouled Caitlin off the ball.

It's part of the game dude. If you're as good as Clark you better be prepared to get roughed up a bit. If you played any sports growing up, you should know what I mean. I've seen plenty of guys who were amazing players, but they were only 5'8". The players who make it aren't always the most skilled. This isn't college ball, she's got to get tougher or her team mates have to protect her. The refs need to do a better job also. She definitely needs to be protected, but it's not the oppositions job to let her score. She just can not be allowed to get her way in the paint, because we've all seen what she can do. They will try to muscle her, intimidate her, anything....AS THEY SHOULD. That's their job. She'll adjust trust me. Let them play!

@@GlendaClarke-ir2cd If they actually made such a stupid comment it would absolutely 100% be racist by any definition. I just happen to think that in the end this will make her a better player. Better to get roughed up now and adapt than in the play offs. As for the definition of racist "characterized by or showing prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group." By looking the other way you in effect endorse the behavior, even when it does affect you in a different circumstance. You can't have it both ways. If society needs to work hard to be color blind, why undermine that effort with this stupidity????

Credit where credit is due that game was fire. Clark's presence does hype up the game but we could see the fouls and lack of support from the officials taking a toll on her play in the later half of the game. Carter, Cardoso and Reese were great too but Clark was the standout. All the WNBA stars need to ride the wave of enthusiasm that Clark is bringing to the WNBA as opposed to bullying her. They all have an opportunity to shine brighter. Thanks for the recap and riveting commentary.
