My 8179T has a deck that I refurbished (patches welded in, bearings replaced, stripped and repainted). My 16G currently has no deck. I had a 60" deck, but sold that, and finding a GOOD 50" deck is NOT an easy task. A new deck shell, is in the $400+ range, and a decent used deck is around $300+ around here. Not sure if I'll have one for this season.
